Salutations, mortal. I
Salutations, mortal. I invite you to cast off your dull and tiresome identity which you must so often bear and assume a new name, here in the Wood of Eternal Sleep. You are free, be whatever you wish. (Basically, an SI.) Be not concerned about the time when our fantasy must end, (September 17) for here there is no time and all may have eternal youth...
I am Caelya, Princess of the Wood Elves. My father rules this forest. Make yourself at home here, and if you see a golden fish in the pool by moonlight don't forget to make a wish...

My name is Rezella. I am but a poor night elf that sings to make a living. I sing for humans and dwarfs, and sometimes trolls, but only to lull them to sleep so they will not eat me. Some say my voice is like an angel. *blushes* But, that is a lie. *feels very shy now* *wants to walk away* *others want to hear more* *comes back slowly* Night Elves are mostly nocturnal. We can see far better at nighttime then in the daylight. All of our senses are stronger after dusk. I must be going now. I have to buy some more Slavartin for the stew I am making. I shall be sharing this stew with my fellow beasts that live with me in the forest.

Welcome! I should truly love to hear you sing, perhaps you could treat us to it?

[[At the risk of disturbing the peace, it's right about /now/ that I would politely point out that my life is neither dull nor tiresome. Thanks though!]]

What do you mean, kind-hearted Mary W.?

Hello there. My name is Winterwing and I am a
rainbird. I sing my pleasant tune before the rain
arrives to polish the land. It is said to be a
warning to the creatures of the forest, but I merely
sing of joy. Rain makes everything better, does it
not? I am a small, lively bird with the smoothest
of white feathers (hence my name) and a dazling
golden beak. But I don't mean to brag. *innocent
look* My, it is getting rather late. I must return
to my warm oak tree, but I believe I will be singing
tomorrow. I feel the rain coming.

It's not a real last name, you know, Admins. I made it up - not quite sure why you feel like it needs blocked.

Well, we didn't know if it was real or not, so we just go by the rules!

I am Kelryssal, and an Undine. We water spirits have no permanent physical bodies, but we can appear as anything we wish, Beast or Being, but most of the time, we resemble fish with golden scales. According to elfin legend, we grant wishes in this form if we are seen at this particular time of evening. That is folly, most of the time, but I am willing to make an exception. I have the power to grant wishes, although I rarely use it. If anyone sees me here, feel free to ask me for your greatest desire. I will give it to you, as long as no one will be harmed in the process.

Folly... I was not aware. If there has been foolishness I must inform my father. I am pleased to meet you, though.

Hi, we're Aditu and Jiriki!
Aditu: Jiriki is my older brother.
Jiriki: Yes, I am.
Aditu: Willow-switch, why the long face? Surely you do not miss Simeon? If that is the case why do you not go to visit him?
Jiriki: Because Miriamele is annoying sometimes.
Aditu:No she isn't!
Jiriki: Well she's a human.
Aditu: So is Simeon!
Jiriki: Well Simeon is my Sta'ja.
Aditu: And Miri is his wife!
Jiriki: Her father was allied with the Norns.
Aditu: And?
Jiriki: You're right, I'm being ridiculous. Let us play ten'jet.
Aditu: Simeon is a good ten'jet player.
Jiriki: That's not what I was talking about.
Aditu: Willow-switch, need I force you to visit Simeon?
Jiriki: I can't visit him without warning. He's a king now.
Aditu: He's still your Sta'ja, and he's not YOUR king anyhow. I think I will visit Simeon, myself.
Jiriki: Whatever.

Hello, I am Gaelomesa, one of the last rain elves. I can go wherever the rain and water might travel. I am poor, I sing of rain and dance for the people that nead it most. I become a rain drop and sleep in the clouds. Watching all the birds fly by. My home is on the bank of any creek or stream I come by. I can become any shape I would like, with the water that surounds me. I am usually a willowy elf with long hair that flows like water over a smoooth rock. Noone who see me could say what colors I am, for water never does show it's real color.

It is so pleasant to know that I, a lowly Night Elf, am not the only singer. All elves were granted with wonderful voices. But it is so very sad that I must sing to eat, sleep, and basically live. It is nearing dusk. I must ready myself for the passing of the Troll Bridge. This is the only way I can get to the Night Elf Gathering, where vendors sell berries, roots, nuts, and sometimes magical stones, that grant wishes. *practices singing a few notes* Which song will the troll like this time?
(September 5, 2009 - 2:50 pm)
I do believe we will get along well, Gaelomesa.
*friendly nod*

Winterwing, I think I've seen you flying before singing a song that sounded like it was made by nothing but joy. And Rezzella, could you sing a song to us? I'll sing a song for all of you. *looks around at everyone* *starts singing* I love to sing. At first I was shy, but now I know that if I sing a tune wrong, everyone will understand.

Hello, I am Sol, a Sun Bird. At the tips of my wings and my tail, I am orange, The rest of my body is red, except for my neck, breast, and a sun-shaped spot on my forehead with a red spot in the middle of it. I eat herbs found in the forest and I drink from the Enchanted waters. My soft nest rests on a branch of a pine tree, and it is made out of twigs, and leaves. I sing to bring light to dark places in the world. The birds that you hear in the beginning of the day are Sun Birds singing for the sun to come out.
