@Mary W.: Of course I think you're funny! But then again, I have a twisted sense of humor, so you might not take that as a compliment :D

@people complaining no one's switched with them: No one wants to switch with me either, though understandably so. I don't even like to be alone in my own head :D I'll switch with all of you :D

I visited California in 2000. We flew to San Francisco and saw the usual sights there, including Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiradelli Square, and hilly, curvy Lombard Street. We rode a cable car to Grace Cathedral. Then we drove north across the Golden Gate Bridge to Muir Woods and took a beautiful walk through the gigantic redwoods. We continued north along the coast road, stopping to wade in the  ocean. The water was cold, but now I can say I've been in both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans!

Then we turned inland to Santa Rosa, where we attended a Snoopy collectors convention. We saw the old Charles Schulz museum and his studio and went ice-skating at his skating rink. We also drove through the wine country and visited a winery on my birthday. There were 6 customers  in the refreshment area and it was the birthday of two of us! (We didn't know each other.) That's been my only trip to California. I'd love to go back. There's so much more to see.
