Anyway I hope you have a wonderful time here. I see you are apparently in Narnia, and, well, you're a dragon, so I'm guessing you like fantasy? I do too - a lot - I love to draw fantastical creatures including dragons and I have a fantasy world of my own. Have you read Wings of Fire? Just out of curiosity, since you must like dragons... it's one of my favorite series. 

Hi Dragon! I'm possibly wiser! (possibly for short)

An AE is short for an Alter Ego. These can be parts of our personality or even a creation that is the complete opposite of ourselves. Most of them are humanoid, some have special powers, and they have been named by their CBer(Chatterboxer).

They'll usually show up in a post talking in either bold or italics. Some CBers have many AEs and use a combo or bold, italics, and other symbols(carrots, astrics, percent signs, numbers).

Example:

^Hi, I'm Sunflower! I am Possibly's outgoing side! I don't get a chance to shine that often, but when I do, I'm sure to take charge.^

*I'm David. I'm Possibly's cynical side. I'd like to point out that her CB (Chatterbox Box) name is not that accurate, because there is no possibility of her being wiser at all. Her name should be "definetly not wise" instead.*

Ok, you two, calm down. 

Some CBers also use their Captchas in this way. Because the spam box has five letters all in lowercase, that's how they portray their Captcha's talking.

And introducing...... Kyra!

Hi guys. I’m Kyra. Umm, I guess you knew that already. Oops. I can kinda, well, I mean....  *says all in a rush* I can shapeshift! Into all felines, canines, and dragons. I think I’m gonna go draw now. *retreats into corner with sketch pad*

So now for what she looks like! Kyra has shoulder-length dark brow hair, and brilliant green eyes. She carries around a silver dagger, and loves to draw and climb trees. She also loves to swim, and has a tortoiseshell cat named Willow who also likes to swim. This is my first AE, tell me how I did please! Thanks! 

 What’s up guys? I’m Hazel. (Rigel, stop chewing my arrows! Bad dog!) Sorry. Rigel is adorable, and a great sidekick, but still, I wish he wouldn’t eat my weapons. Oh geez, I gotta go! *Runs off with sword in hand*

So that’s Hazel! She is outgoing and confident. She lives in a treehouse with her Belgian Shepherd Rigel. She has long blond hair that is usually in a ponytail and has purple eyes. She can teleport any where and has a lot of possibly dangerous weapons. She always has a backpack on, with everything you could possibly need and some things you wouldn’t inside. She is also very sciencey.

A few tips to help you out: AEs are more than just characters with awesome personalities and cool features. AEs are represented as a part of ourselves. Also, sometimes too many AEs can get confusing... I should know. Nowadays, I stick to the principle of only really creating an AE if they are someone/something who feels real to me and who I can connect with. That being said, many CBers don't seem to have a limit on their number of AEs and they seem to do just fine. It differs from person to person, of course.

It's up to you to decide what to do with your new AEs. Looks like you're off to a great start! Wishing you the best in all future endevors and fun!

There's no specific way to change your name here. Some people just start posting under a new name right away and some people may make a post explaining their name change. 

Some people change their names a lot while other have never changed them, as seen on this thread by Summer:
