Stuff you used to think/do... when you were new! 

What are some things you guys thought/did when you first joined the CB that you don't anymore, or think hilarious now? Here are some of mine:

1. I thought that some prankster named "Top!" went around posting comments with no content to confuse people.

2. I was always trying to get the admins to comment on my posts because I thought it made you cool or something.

3. If I saw someone whose name I recognized from the magazine, I instantly thought of them as a celebrity. 

Maybe I'll think of more...

I also was SUPER confused by Topping!
I used to think that you could only choose one of the six places? Forums? to post on. (I chose Inkwell.)
I didn't have an introductory post, so I just started commenting randomly on things. Ah, nostalgia.

Like you, Jwyn, I thought that top was a person (a very weird and insistent person). And I thought Kitten and Tuxedo Kitten were the same person, and that Kitten was just short for Tuxedo Kitten.

I also never had an introductory post or anything, and I didn’t realize how to make a new thread for the longest time.

~I thought it would take a day for a post on Chatterbox to appear.

~I didn't do an introductory thread because I didn't know those existed... I thought everyone just started posting randomly.

~I didn't know ski lodges were solo writes, not rps. That was why I posted some rping on Estella's ski lodge (I don't do that anymore though).

~I thought B.I.G was still the prominent antagonist in Kyngdom. Luckily though, B.I.G had come back alive when I posted my first rp about something B.I.G-related, so I was saved by conveinence! 

~I made all my posts fancy-sounding, like I was writing an essay or something.

...Um..Top isn't a person? My whole world has been turned upside down....

~Haha, I thought Top was a person too! I complained about it to my mom, and even though she's been on discussion boards where topping was a thing, she never thought to tell me that top wasn't a person lol 

~Also, I didn't really understand RPs. I always started my RP posts with "Here's my story!" instead of the character's name and the little squiggly thing, if you know what I'm talking about. Here's an example:

[character name]~

I literally have no idea why I didn't understand that XD

~ I also joined a lot of old RPs, but usually the RP's owner would still be on CB and would tell me that the RP was dead. Thankfully most of them were nice people. (Thank you Lyra and Moonfrost!) I guess I just didn't check the date on the RP? Like, I didn't know that they were old and you weren't supposed to post on them anymore.
