For months, I've been running to the mailbox every day to see the mail before my brother and sister to make sure an answer didn't come for the latest contest--the Mutt Musem story contest. 3 days ago, my answer came!!!!!:D:D:D When I saw that large yellow envelope sitting on top of the stack of mail, addressed to me, and after I saw it was from Cricket magazine, I started screaming, jumping up and down, and running for the front door all at once!:D:D:D The neighbors must have thought I was nuts!:D:D:D I won 3rd place!!!!!:D:D:D I'm so happy!:D:D:D I've been excited ever since!:D:D:D Cricket, do you always give free books to people who win? In the package with the postcard and the reward, I got a small, paperback book called Directed by Kaspar Snit. I finished it yesterday, and it was very good!:D:D:D Thank you so much, Cricket, and buggies for thinking that my story is good enough for such a wonderful magazine full of amazing stories!:D:D:D

Allison, I'm not a computer/Web guru, but I think asking you to type letters that appear is a way of guarding against being flooded with automatically generated comments. Maybe you could say we're protecting the Chatterbox from spam. Or something like that.
