Hi guys! So,

Hi guys! So, my friend wants to join Chatterbox, but he doesn’t really know anything about it. And  I’m not sure how to explain it to him. Any ideas? (I don’t want to make it seem like a little kids website, since he does use social media.) Thanks y’all! *parkours away*

Um, well, Chatterbox isn’t exactly a site about Cricket, is the thing. And, I kinda want to explain the CB in more detail...

It's  a  site  for  young  people  who  enjoy  reading  and  writing .

When I'm trying to explain the CB to a friend, it usually goes like this:

Me: And yesterday I did so-and-so on the CB.

Friend: The what?

Me: Oh, the Chatterbox. It's an online thing where you can talk to people, or do roleplays, or some things that we made up, and people can't really say anything very bad or inappropriate bc there are people that we call the Admins, who look through each post before it's put up and make sure it's okay. I found out about it bc I [...], but I didn't actually start until [...]. 

 

I also would show them if I was able to, like if I had a phone, but I don't.

Does all that make sense?

I generally say that it’s a, like, forum-y thing where people post about whatever and other people reply.

Yeah. I think you said something along those lines. And you also mentioned people posting stories and things. I remember it was actually pretty different than I expected.

Well it's not a kid's wesite bc well the ages are 9-14 so u could tell him that, and I usually call it a wesite where you can post. But u should probably add the Admins and like ski lodges and stuff though.
