Today was maybe a little worse...this time I had two performances! Before the first performace, a huge DARK rain cloud came, and it was scary! We all were huddled up under this building that had a roof. We changed under there into our dresses. Then we put ponchos and held unbrellas over our heads and stuff as we ran to the tent we were dancing in. Then we watched the dances, and suddenly it was sunny! It was a fast storm. So we got lined up out side (our shoes SOAKED!) and did our hard-shoe dance! Yay, it was fun! Then after my dances, my dad came by and we walked around the fairgrouds a little bit, and came back later to get ready for the next show. By then, it was humid and HOT! So that wasn't so great... just earlier we were wishing it was hot! And we got what we wanted, but then we wanted it cold again. UGH! So we had our dresses halfway off, it was funny. We also got to see the cannon shot off! Later when we danced, it began to rain again! UGH! So when we changed into our soft shoes, it was just icky. But my socks were still clean! (My mom calls them poodle socks) And I did my soft shoe dance (almost falling walking up the stage! ahhhhhh!) and it was over. Whew, what a big weekend! I invited my friend, Allie, but she couldn't come :(. Well, anyways, that's what happened! Even though it was warm with those velvet dresses, I had fun! Man, the audience thought THEY were hot! haha! If you guys wanted to know kind of what our dresses looked like, they were what my mom calls "A-line dresses." Because the bottom sort of sticks out, you know. If you want, you can search Rince Na Chroi on google, and you'll probably get a picture. It's black, and has lots of squigly lines. My mom likes it because there's no glitter.
