I hate it

I hate it when I am the last comment on a dead thread. It sort of makes me feel like I must have said something that prevented people from wanting to come back. Am I the only one? (Wow, two new posts in a day! That might be a record for me!:)

Don't worry, Brynne, it's not you that makes me stop reading the thread!!! :) I've never actually noticed if I'm the last comment or not, but I know that self-conscious feeling. It's okay; don't worry about it! :)

of an... uncomfortable feeling, because you sometimes

think people stop posting because of something you

said. But there has to be a last post to every thread,

so it's nothing personal. Don't worry about it. :)

Yeah, that happens to me ALL the time!! :P I see a thread that I haven't commented in, so I say something and kill it. Nobuggy else comments... Makes me sad... :(:( But, haha, I don't avoid threads just because you commented; trust me! :D

I feel the same way! If I comment on a thread last and no one posts after me for a long period of time, I always worry it was my fault! Actually, I often look back at what I say after I post it. It's never hard to find something wrong with it, either.

Does anyone else find themselves being asked questions, and then not seeing the question for weeks, and answering, and having your answer be the last one on the thread, and worrying that the question asker doesn't see it?  I do that a lot...

I vote that we bring back some of the old dead threads (if it can be done) rather than starting new ones on the same subjects. What think you? :P

I'll make a "Check out these threads" thread on DTE. I'll try to put some of the more interesting ones in there. Some threads died when they were really short back when they were in one long page!
