Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Hello! Does anyone

Hello! Does anyone here have any suggestions for what animes I should watch? I watch SAO (Sword Art Online). And also, I love your mags cricket! They're the best! Also, Pussywillow is really cute. Anyways, I have a question: What does Pussywillow want for Christmas? :) People out there, can you let me know what kinds of anime I should watch.

I HEARD ANIME?!

If you like SAO, I would recommend Fairy Tail. It starts off a little goofy, but gets good soon. Nice to meet you!

Ooh, Mushi-shi is really good. It’s about this guy who can see otherworldly... kind of like insects, some of them, or animals, monsters... and he goes around looking for people who are influencing or being influenced by them and helps set or keep things right.

Gunslinger Girl is good if you like more realistic stuff; it’s kind of a crime thing set in Italy with these little girls who are cyborg assassins created by the government to fight, well, crime. There’s a lot of moral dilemma stuff.

Neither of those really have romance in them; Ouran High School Host Club is a very romance-oriented one. It’s about this club that a bunch of high school boys run where they entertain student customers with conversation and activities and being super pretty. Also, Your Lie In April is about a boy who used to be a crazy good pianist and this violinist girl who gets him back into it, along with their two mutual friends and a lot of romantic shenanigans.

Attack on Titan and Death Note are both horror, I don’t know if you like that? Death Note is about a kid who finds a notebook which can kill people if you write their names in it, and Attack on Titan is about a small civilization trying to survive a sort of apocalypse of Titans, which are a bit like giant, quirky zombies, with dangers and mysteries at every turn.

Magical girl animes like Sailor Moon, Madoka Magica and Yuki Yuna Is A Hero typically follow girls who acquire or discover that they have magical powers and must fight off hordes of supernatural monsters. They’re often full of candy-coated tragedies that doom or damage the characters. Some also examine how magical girl duties may affect ‘normal’ life, sort of like Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Miraculous Ladybug.

I’ve heard of Voltron, but I haven’t seen it. I think it has something to do with mech battles?
