(I'm typing this right on the CB so I don't accidentally post the Bee Movie script again)
Anyways, this idea has been bouncing around in my head for a couple weeks, and I thought I'd see how it went over. Sooooo...
CBer of the Week!
Basically, we would make a list of every CBer that's still around, and we would vote one of them to be CBer of the Week each week, so they could be further recognized for their writing/advice-giving/art/threadmaking skills. No CBer would win twice, so everybody would get an equal chance. I'm currently making a list of CBers to vote for from A.A's CBer Census, so if you aren't on there, just put your name down here to be entered onto the list! Anyways, uh, I can't think of anything to end this post. Bye.
We'll see what other think. I think the voting and tallying might be cumbersome and I don't want anyone's feelings hurt. I'd be more in favor of continuing or starting another compliments thread for all.

I nominate Rogue. I’m not entirely sure why, but you were the first person that came to mind, and then it felt right. It’s hard to explain.

If it's ok, here's who I nominate:
Viola?- for being welcoming to new CBers, honest and humble, eloquent, and a good friend to everybody. She's a fabulous artist as well.
Agent Winter- who has an uncanny nack for linking up the ultimate guide whenever a new CBer comes, compliments everyone on the art posting thread (even all my terrible junk), and gets along well with everyone.
Rouge Wilding- man, I admire her confidence. She never backs down from what she believes in and stands up for herself, and she's also quite good-natured. She's also an amazing writer.
Icy- for a fun sense of humor, modesty, and complementing everyone, even my awful ski lodges!
Darkking- for being a spirited, fun Chatterboxer and a great friend! He comments on all of the stories, ski lodges, and artwork on the CB and makes everyone feel good. He makes me laugh and is unafraid to be himself!
Boo says yeit. If he's trying to yeet, then I am a very proud mother.

Although this idea seems okay, a lot of people are being left out. When those CBers see that they didn't get nominated, they'll feel bad about themselves. Yet another thread that's for the "more well known" or more "popular" CBers. Let's just have a compliment thread.

Umm. Actually, I don't think this is a good idea at all because even though it seems like it'll make people feel happy and/or appreciated, once a long time ago there was a thread (or string of threads) where CBers would be winning awards--the point was to nominate CBers for the awards and it ended up making a lot of people mad and hurt. I'm sorry, but I think this is too similar to work well.

Yes, I agree with you. Dozens of CBers are being left out, feeling that they don't matter. I think the compliment thread is great, just not this type of thread. Don't try to guess me, but I've been on the CB for well over 2 years and no one even really remembers me!

Ya know what, I vote for Coroline, too. She's such an amazingly sweet person who puts in an effort to include everyone and be kind.

Well...I would post something on here but Rogue's gonna win no matter what. And I sound bitter and jealous, so I'm sorry about that but I haven't slept in about a day so my overall state is...bleh.
But really. Guys. Diversity. I consider myself "well-known" on here and still.
There is more I'd like to say, but it probably would get cut out for being offensive and I don't want to say something I regret.

I don't know, I think it'd be nice for CBers to get a spotlight like this and feel special. And, you know, I'm competitive.
