periwinkle: Hola! Cassandra and I are currently in the most boring class in the history of all boring classes(Spanish)- so she decided to show me this! I'm periwinkle, a violin player, writer, and artist. Ice cream and sushi are my all-time favorite foods- I just love the thought of sitting on the couch with a bowl of ice cream doing absolutely nothing. Penguins are my favorite animal and my favorite color is periwinkle. (of course)
One question though that Cassandra and I are debating; do you pronounce crayon as "cray-on" or "cran"?
It's definitely "cray-on." ;)
Cassandra: No it's not! It's "cran"!!
perwinkle: Also, fun fact:
in Canada they say "pencil crayons" instead of colored pencils.

If you're into mystery, read One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus, or One of Us is Lying by Agatha Christie. If you're into fantasy, if you haven't already read the Harry Potter or Percy Jackson series, drop what you are doing IMMEDIATELY and read them! If you enjoy a good classic, I have so many! Read Anne of Green Gables, Pride and Prejudice, Alice in Wonderland, and Little Women. Who knew there were so many amazing books in the world plus more to discover?!

Hi, periwinkle! I’m artisticbirdie, and I love reading, writing, running (track and cross country), drawing, and a whole bunch of other things including playing flute. Also, I totally pronounce crayon “cran”, but that may be my Cape Cod/Rhode Island upbringing and slight accent. Anyways, see you around!

I'd rather have cooked spaghetti arms too. And skateboarding is really weird, yeah. It takes a while to get used to it, but it's worth it. I would recommend starting out sitting down on the skateboard and riding down a small slope if you want to learn how to skateboard. It's really hard to start out standing up, sitting down lets you get the sense of the whole gravity-defying thing XP
