Shoot! It's past 8:00, we have relatives who came over for dinner and to spend the night, and I forgot to post, but I did choose before then!!
Will everyone agree to read The Gate In The Wall?? It's a beautiful, well, ok, not beautiful, but really good book about a girl who discovers a gate in the wall outside the mill she works when she's late and the boss wont let her in. She walks through it, because she doesn't want to go home and face her abusive brother-in-law, and changes her life. It's one of my all time favorite books. See what you think.

Thank you, Laura! I'm sometimes scatterbrained, too. My mom is REALLY scatterbrained. She sometimes forgets how old she is. (I know that sounds very weird, but she remembers after a few seconds).

Yeah, kinda. She once said someething that the reason that people have larger chicken coups is because some people have larger chickens. Well, I don't think that chickens are goat-sized. She says a lot of things that don't really make sense. Like, uh, "Your weird hat looks green on you.". And something like "invertabrate snakes."
