Okay! I'd be really happy (if you're able to talk to her) if you could ask her if (a) she was at Sebago Lake on Monday (the 6th) or if (b) she owns a red sweatshirt? Also, tell her that there are way too many people in Portland with blond hair and sunglasses. XD

OMIGOSH. Now she says iviy. That's super weird and more weird because my friend Ivy from Connecticut is coming up for a visit and she's supposed to get here in an hour or two.

Omigosh.

I don't know if Joss will see this, or if someone can relay it to her, but I guess she used to take violin lessons with my best friend's mom, and did karate at the same place and time that my older siblings were. When I was, too. 

I just learned this today, and I don't think it could possibly be anyone else that everyone was talking about.

That's okay--thanks for trying. I don't know though...I may actually be able to contact her by bouncing through multiple people....Apparently my MOM knew her family vaguely, too. I guess they used to homeschool.

Oh my goodness gracious, that’s so exciting!! Wow!  I would kill to meet someone from CB irl, or even know of them! There was a CB group chat a while ago— With me, Katydid, OtR, Nova, Shadow Dragon, Cockleburr, and a couple others, but it’s long dead by now. (How it got started is a very convoluted story.)

Joss was on it too, and I have her email from that, but I’m pretty sure it’s the same one Burr has. I wish you all the luck though, that’s so beyond cool! Keep us posted!!

Yeah, I kinda freaked out and was shaken for the rest of the day when I learned that my best friend used to know her. CBers are a big deal to me and yes, I would do anything to meet someone IRL! It would be really cool to know others somewhere else, too, but I don't even do NaNo. XP I joined a little late to really know other people from that generation of CBers, at least the ones who aren't here anymore, and I'm younger by a lot but anyway...umm...I'm ranting.
