Just saying hello.
Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket
Just saying hello.
Just saying hello.
To think, I'll be fifteen next month!
Basically, I've been doing a billion million things. I've been doing a lot of D&D (Dungeons & Dragons, for those of you who don't do tabletop RPGs), working at the gym (as in a job, not getting muscular. >.>), playing a ton of Skyrim and Knights of The Old Republic, and basically enjoying the real world. OH AND FINAL FANTASY! Ohmigandaaallfff do I love it so much. Rydia is my favorite character so far. I've played through the first two, and we're working through the third now. (Coco, me and me dad, that is.)
The paragraphs here have changed and it's messing me up so badly. ;.;
I've been dabbling in Japanese arts, language and culture with bonsai, dorodangos, and more Studio Ghibli. There are several different levels of thank you in Japan. Politest: Hontouni arigato gozaimasu/Domo arigato gosaimasu (don't pronounce the last u.)
Domo arigato/arigato gosaimasu
arigato
domo
Domo is super uber casual. :)
I like it here, but I feel like I'm still living in NC or WA, and it confuzzles me. I'm finally doing gymnastics again, too! So happy to be doing bars again.
We finished Harry Potter, too! It's kind of weird not having to worry about spoilers.
Disney has been annoying my Star Wars love to pieces, so much so that I almost love Marvel more. *cries at the thought* I'm neutral twoards TFA, loved R1, hate TLJ, neutral towards Solo (It was decent, anyways. Enfys Nest for the win.)
I lurved Black Panther to pieces, and we're going back and watching all the Marvel movies. Poor Sif, just always being friendzoned by Thor. She deserves someone awesome.
I might reply back to some comments over the next few days, and I will be coming to the Valentine's day reunion after all.
Wakanda Forever.
Are you in Japan now? Will you be staying there now?

Well, my dad has Oblivion, so it would be cheaper to borrow it from him--but he has it on the PC. XP
Coco was so happy. :)

Hey Cho!! Good to see you! And cool, my best friends does D&D too! You're lucky you can work in a gym, the only place I can find to work around here at age 14 is in the fields -_- I LOVED Black Panther too! Thanks for stopping by!

Hi, Bluebird!! (you should totally try and see if you can get into their game ahaha) *pats* Can't you babysit? It's a lot, but fun, too. :) (Though I know some states you have to be 16+, so maybe you can't and I'm making things worse.) XP
It's nice to see you again!

CHO!!!!!! I'M SO GLAD YOU POPPED IN!!!!!!!
Why don't you like the Disney Star Wars movies? I loved every one of them to pieces except Rogue 1. Gosh I hated Rogue 1.
I didn't really like Black Panther tbh... I thought it was kinda boring. But I do love Shuri (spelling?). Is BP your favorite Marvel movie? Mine is probably either Doctor Strange or Ragnarok or Age of Ultron or Homecoming or... gah it's so hard to choose.
I'm so happy to hear from you!!!!

*sobs*
Leafmist, darling, R1 is my favorite. I like The Force Awakens okay, but as it didn't have a good follow-up movie, it became very sad in my eyes. I liked the characters, but the plot wasn't exceptional. I couldn't stand The Last Jedi because of how they failed to keep Luke a hero, and how they flashed between character sets. I liked Rogue One because they had good strong characters, a good plot, and drew on pieces of older canon. Solo was okay, it had an entertaining storyline, but I was sad over most of the characters, though I think that most gave their all, there was nothing to make it stand out.
I have not fully decided on a favorite Marvel movie yet because I have not seen them all, however, we'r working through them as a family, and thus are almost done.

CHO! I joined the main part of the CB around when you left, so you probably don't remember me, but I totally remember you! I didn't realize just how similar we are though. What edition D&D do you play? Also, OHMYGOSH ANOTHER KOTOR FAN! I had played over 24 hours, but I can't find the disk anymore! I'm so bummed. What's your favorite Marvel movie?
(July 21, 2018 - 2:13 pm)
I actually do remember you! Not personally, but as a name floating around. :)
I'm playing 5e, but our library actually has 3e(!!!) so I might actually dabble in that, if my players will allow me to skip around and be a poor DM again. XP
That would be the second switch in a year ... I think they'd get angry and antsy with me ...
Aww, that's too bad! I hope you can find the disc soon! I haven't picked a favorite Marvel movie yet because I haven't seen all of them, but I really like Captain America (nostalgia ... first one I ever saw), Ant-Man & The Wasp, Avengers: Infinity War, and Black Panther. Though Doctor Strange promises to join the list. I started watching with my friend and was enjoying it. So--High hopes!

Hi! *waves awkwardly* I'm not really sure what to say. Your life sounds very interesting. Wait, that was weird... Was it? Probably. I'm... going to cut this off before I say something entirely stupid.
(July 21, 2018 - 7:49 pm)
Cho! Oh my goodness, it's so great to hear from you!!!
First off, D&D!!! Autumn Leaves, Moonfrost, and I recently started playing!! We've only done one round so far, but it was really fun--although all those different dice get confusing. We did the starter adventure and ended up spending the most time haggling over how much the dwarf was going to pay us to actually go on the journey. Erm...xD
Secondly...Studio Ghibli! Do you have a favorite movie? I love Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and Howl's Moving Castle. Plus Ponyo and Totoro and Spirited Away. (Of course, they're all great; what am I talking about??)
Japan sounds really amazing! It must be so cool to be able to walk straight to the ocean. Also, making your own sushi?! That sounds like a lot of fun. :D
Tell Coco and Daisy I said hullo! It made my day seeing this thread, by the way; thanks so much for popping in!!! (Or should I say...Domo?) And happy early 15th birthday!!!
(July 21, 2018 - 9:29 pm)
Ohmygosh, that's so awesome you guys started playing! I tried to do it over the internet with Merenwe and Cron, but it didn't work so well. :)
I just did an adventure with my group, and threw in a reference to The Princess Bride (A word, heroes? We are but poor lost cirsus performers. Is there a village nearby?) and one of the characters ran away to join the circus and got stolen from. XD
The Princess of Mononoke is also great. A+. :)
I will! And Arigatou Gozaimasu! It was great to hear from you again! (So glad I made your day-that's the reason I like to write!)
(July 31, 2018 - 7:20 pm)
Hello, Cho! Welcome back! I came on around the same time that you left so you probably don't remember me, but hello from the states!! :)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *tackle hugs* Aaaahhh I can't believe it! It's so good to see you! I've missed you! How are you? How's Japan?
(July 25, 2018 - 9:29 pm)
*continues falling from all the tackle hugs*
I've missed you too! I'm doing pretty well. Japan is great, I love it so much here; it's going to be hard going back. :)

I'm not sure if you remember me, because I'm recently back after a long perid of inactivity, but hi anyway, to a fellow Cber with a Harry Potter username.
Amoung all these people I'm not familiar with on the CB, it's nice to hear from someone I remember.
