Hello, I’m new!
I go by Sendai, and I’m Kyoto’s IRL cousin. Kyoto and I have always liked to write together, and so she told me about this creative writing website called Cricket and here I am! I could also probably get to know more people also, so there’s that. :D
A few things about me: I love writing, as you know, but I’m honestly terrible at poetry. I’ve been playing hockey for nearly all my life and I also love football (not American football, and concerning the World Cup, GO FRANCE!). I’m a boy, and I’m about to turn 15 (my bday is this month!). I am also Japanese, and I’ve been to Japan a few times. I love Marvel, I like Star Trek more than Star Wars, and I like watching Steven Universe and my favourite childhood show is Phineas and Ferb. I write in what I call “proper English” but some of you may know it as UK English, just because I was brought up on writing everything that way. I can be quite random and hyper at times, so bear with me, and I can’t stand figure skating or ballet (although I have utter respect for all those who do it). I’m mostly introverted but I can be social at times, I play on my high school’s hockey team up north, aaaand...yeah! Umm...let me think...that’s all for now! Oh, my favourite colour is forest green and my favourite animal is a husky (I have two!).

Hello, Isabelle! Cool, newbies unite. :D I can probably sculpt more than I can draw, and musical theatre is awesome! Although I probably wouldn’t be able to sit through Phantom or Les Mis again. XD Are you from England? Because if you are, that’s so cool! I used to live there, actually.

Hello! I’m Neko, artist, author, poet, singer-songwriter and complete fangirl! Now I will address everything you just wrote!
Obviously, I love writing too, and I myself rather like poetry! I honestly have no interest in sports, I’m not good at them. I’m a girl, and a bit younger than you. I am Mexican-American, but I love Japanese things, in case you couldn’t tell from my name. I also love Marvel, and think both Star Trek and Star Wars are good. Honestly, I watch more anime then American cartoons. I think all of us can be random! I’m an introvert, but not online. My favorite colour is blue and my favourite animal is a cat, but I have a dog.

Hi, Neko! It’s cool you like poetry, I can read it up to a certain extent. Anime is pretty cool, but I don’t really watch it, which I suppose is slightly ironic. Oh well. XD Cats are pretty cool, my cousin Kyoto has one, but I could never own a cat. My sister (although she is in college now) has always been allergic and my brother thinks he is too. It was nice to meet you too!

Hi! I'm Lucy, as I'm sure you can tell my my username...
I've been on the CB for about a year and a half now. I'm 14, and going into high school next year. I draw a lot of pictures and write a lot of stories, and an introvert. I quit dance a couple years ago, and am now focusing on year-round swimming! It's the only sport I seem to enjoy. Four years ago I did quit soccer (or football, whichever you prefer) to do year-round swim. I've been playing piano for a REALLY LONG TIME. Like more than 5 years. I think it's 8 or 9 years now. Anyway, that's basically my life story, and I hope you enjoy it here on the CB!

Hello Lucy! Swimming is honestly so cool, my best friend swims competitively in high school and now a league. I like the ice probably more than the water, but again, I’m literally so cold blooded sometimes. XD Yeah, I too played football once upon a time and enjoyed it, but then we moved back into the States and I quit to do hockey. And it’s EPIC that you can play the piano! My older sister, she’s in college now for music, can play super well too! She’s been playing since she was three. :D Nice life story! I hope to see ya around.

I'm Mm. Mimi, and I am the most forgetful, airheaded person EVER so you probably won't hear from me a lot....
Anyway, my favourite colour is aquamarine, and I too like poetry despite the fact that I couldn't write a half-decent haiku if my life depended on it. I do very much enjoy writing fiction, though, and unless everyone I know is an utter liar, I'm better at it than at poetry.
I like Star Trek better than Star Wars, too, and introverts-that-are-sometimes-social-but-rarely unite!!
I hope you find as many kindred spirits *ahem Anne Of Green Gables reference* at Cricket as I did.

Hi, Mm. Mimi! I enjoy writing fiction also, and I somewhat understood the Anne of Green Gables reference (I’m sorry, I never really found the book interesting, which is odd because I find War and Peace so fascinating, which some may argue is more boring). It was nice to meet you!

Welcome, Sendai! It looks like we have a lot in common. I too am a fan of Marvel (*cough cough Peggy Carter cough cough*), Star Trek (hence my location box, though I’m actually in the middle of watching Deep Space 9 right now), writing (60,000 words into my own novel! Yay! I did something!), and usually write in proper English as well (though the device I’m typing on currently restricts me from that). I did ballet for 6 years, and while I’m not the biggest fan of it, I have a healthy respect for those who continue on with it even now. My favorite color is purple and I could go on and on forever about different shades of colors, both of purple and not of purple. I’m a born and raised American (I live in the forgotten state, whoo) and my favorite animal is either a dragon, wolf, or cat. Perhaps an Amur Leopard? Hmm. I’m also an artist and a poetry fan. I’d love to get to know you more, and I hope you choose to stay with the CB!

Welcome, Sendai (wow, you have such a cool name)! I'm LilyPad and I'm twelve but I'm turning thirteen in September. I live in Australia, but I have been to Japan once and it was amazing! I'm also learning to speak in Japanese at school. I play soccer and are also kind of obsessive over the world cup (by that I mean getting up at 1 o'clock every night to watch quarter finals (oh my gosh I'm so excited!)) I am also known to overuse brackets (I know, pretty unbelievable right?) Oh...there, I did it again.
Anyway I love Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Starwars, and pretty much any book you throw at me. I can't say much about Startreck because Ive only seen, like half an episode in my entire life.
I'm looking forward to seeing you around, I think we're going to be great friends.

Hey, Lilypad! You have a really cool name too, and it gives my brain visuals of a pond. Australia is so awesome! I actually was born in New Zealand, and we went to Australia sometimes until when I was about 3...? 4? and we moved to France. It’s really cool you’ve been to Japan and that you’re learning Japanese. I can help you if you ever need it. :D I’ve been quite obsessive over the World Cup also! The quarter finals were intense. And you should totally watch Star Trek! Start at the beginning, and you’ll understand it better. Anyway, it was nice to meet you, and I too believe that we are going to be great friends!

Hello, Starseeker! It does indeed seem as though we have a lot in common. :D You did ballet for 6 years? I could never, to be quite honest. Purple is a cool colour, and it’s definitely my favourite cool shade. I’m not a born and raised American, but what’s this forgotten state you speak of?
