Happy anniversary, CB! We've decided to run TWO live chats today so more people will be able to participate. Please join us on this thread at NOON-2pm Central Time, and again from 8-9pm Central Time.
Just a reminder: the chats will work like a regular CB thread, and the usual rules apply. The difference is that us admins will be signed on and approving posts as fast as we can.

Ahhh I'm so excited! I've never participated in a live chat before! For those of you who are curious:
HADT 7-9am and 3-4pm
AKDT 9-11am and 5-6pm
PDT 10am-NOON and 6-7pm
MDT 11am-1pm and 7-8pm
CDT NOON-2pm and 8-9pm
EDT 1-3pm and 9-10pm
I hope I got those right! I didn't do any outside of the US because that's a lot of space to cover. Also, Admins, are live chats limited to certain threads?

The chat is not limited to any thread. We can't immediately tell which thread a comment is related to, so we just post all comments in the order in which we receive them.

Neko stepped into the extravagant party room/live chat.
“Hello everyone!” She declared. “As this is basically the CB’s birthday, I thought it suiting to bring an infinite birthday cake!” With that, the CBer brushed a blue streak of hair away from her dark brown cat ears and sat down on a helpfully placed couch. (Oh yeah, my hair is naturally dark brown but I got it streaked blue, so now my CB self is the same I guess.)
“We’re here too!” Kiki announced, waving and smiling.
“Tell me if anyone decent shows up.” Maki announced, before turning the volume up on her earbuds.
“Helo” Everstorm said shyly, clutching her kitten stuffed animal(by the way, Everstorm is my new CAPTCHA) She then ended the post with a "ztfi" and waited in nervous anticipation.
