Hey everyone! It's Lyra. I'm a very old CBer back from the days of Crowd Sorcery. I joined on November 4th, 2014 and stayed on here for about a year. Then I spent another year in the void (inactivity), until this morning I picked up a copy of my brothers Spider Magazine and remembered this place. I don't know why I didn't come back sooner, I think I was scared, but it isn't actually as scary as I thought. Anyways...
I'm a fourteen year old homeschooled girl who lives in the US. I've won NaNoWriMo three times with thirty and fourty thousand word goals. My favorite genre is Fantasy and I love books like LOTR, Narnia, Harry Potter, The Inheritance Cycle, The Golden Compass, Reddwall, KOTLC, MBS, Rangers Apprentice and anything by Cornelia Funke. My all time favorite book is The Wolf Wilder by Katherine Rundell. My favorite movies are Star Wars, LOTR and HP (in that order). I want to be an author when I grow up (and maybe write a novel for Star Wars).
It's been about a year since I've been here, but I do remember some of the people who's names I've seen on. I'd love to meet everyone new, and I can't wait to start back up as a CBer!

Hi there, Lyra! It's nice to meet you, and nice to have you back! Let me introduce myself. :D
I'm Inktail, a cat who looooves to write and read! I love fantasy and dystopian novels the most. I like to Irish dance, play the violin, play video games ( LOADS of video games--Zelda/Nintendo games to first person shooters to puzzlers! ), and tons of other stuff. Some of my favorite books are HP, TMR, Arc of a Scythe, ASoUE, and SO many other nerdy genres/series/fandoms.
I originally joined during the KYNGDOM craze--under Trill Woodhena. (That name just kinda came to me.) Eventually though, I quit that and moved to Cricket full time!
You'll mainly see me posting under Blab About Books, Chirp at Cricket and The Inkwell, although I do sometimes post in This Month, Down to Earth and Pudding's Place. I do take unannounced hiatuses a lot xD
I hope we can be friends! You seem just as nerdy as me, hehe! :D

Hi, Lyra! Welcome home! Hey, I love those books! Those of them that I've read. Speaking of The Golden Compass, have you read the new book Phillip Pullman published? It takes place before The Golden Compass, while Lyra (the character) is a baby. If you haven't, I'd highly reccommend it! It's called The Book of Dust. Anyway, how've you been? I'm so happy to see you again!

Hey, Lyra! I joined about a year ago, so we may have interacted a few times. If you don't remember me, you might remember my sister, Poetic Panda. It's nice to see you back again! I've only won NaNo once-- to be fair, this was the first year I tried it. Are you on the classroom?
Fantasy is such an amazing genre! I love it as well. Sounds like we've read a lot of the same books! Ranger's Apperentice is, like, one of the best book series ever, I think. Star Wars, LOTR, and HP are pretty good, but I'm also a Trekkie. ;) I think it would be so cool to be an author! I might be an engineer or an architect.
Looking forward to seeing you around a little more!

Wow, we have a lot in common! I'm also homeschooled, and I love LOTR, HP, KOTLC, Star Wars, Ranger's Apprentice, and I really like Narnia! Redwall is good too. What is the Inheritance Cycle? It sounds very good. If it's fantasy, it'll definitely end up on my neverending "to-read" list. XD
Anyway, glad you're back!! I look forward to seeing you around on the CB, hopefully in some Roleplays too. ;)

I can't believe how much we have in commen! I am homeschooled and I live in the US! I have done NaNo for two years and haven't won yet, with the 50,000 word goal. I love LOTR and Narnia, and Star Wars! That is so cool!

Hi there, Lyra! i am Catsclaw, a 11 year old oregonian-homeshooled-half cat-nerd who loves to read and write more than anything else! i am currently working on a book -find it posted on BaB- several RPs, a 'kid-friendly' version of Macbeth(i will not be posting it on the CB), and a murder novel(not posting that either, since it's not really CB-friendly). i LOVE LOVE LOVE the golden compass books, LotR, HP (POTTERHEADS UNITE!), and i love Narnia(though i kinda feel like i would probably be too old to actually GO to Narnia...) redwall(though i havn't read that much of it), and KotLC... Have you read Nightfall?!?!?! please tell me you have, i need more people to obsess about books with...yeah...ya' goin' to introduce me? sure. that's Lydia, my mind in a girl's body, Reganam EHT, HIII!!!! my crazy, partyloving moron AE, and my vain(i guess he kinda has good reason, i made him kinda perfect...) elf AE, Esgardir. Ooh, what's The Golden Compass about?

It's an amazing book about an alternate universe where people have these things called daemons, which are a bit like a person's soul. A person's daemon takes the form of an animal that represents them as a person. While a person is a child their daemon can change shape, but when they grow up the daemon assumes a permanent form. The main plot is really hard to explain without giving anything away, but you should totally read it! The Golden Compass is probably one of my three favorite books in the world, and has been so since I was eleven.

Hello! I'm Viola?, eccentric artist and fangirl of many webcomics. I joined Kyngdom somewhere around early June in 2016, and not too recently made my first official foray onto the CB. I never made an introduction thread for myself... Anyway. If I'm not known for my art I must not be posting enough of it, but I read and write when I'm not doing school stuff or drawing.
