I just joined

I just joined NaNoWriMo!

The Young Writer's Program, that is. Annndddddd.....

I'm kinda lost.

I've heard other people say that they were on NaNo, but is there a way we could contact each other? 

I've just been floating around the Forums, I'm not sure I'm ready to dive into it all, but I....guess I already have a Mentor? Don't quite know how that happened, but so far everyone seems nice. 

So, yeah. Who else is on NaNo?

I think you have to join the CB's classroom to communicate with the rest of us.  The classroom name is Cricket Chatterbox Writing Academy, but I don't know the password.

Are the classrooms with the little viking guy? I think I saw a thread here a while back with a code on it, but I thought it was for an actual classroom, for a school. Lemme go check......*dives into threads*

The classroom code is AFGKIFDB. Not that I'm on there, though. I'm not allowed to. *Laughs bitterly*

Someone posted the code forever ago and that's how I got in.. I haven't been on for months now, sooo that's not much help xD

@Leafpool- Is it because you aren't 13 that you can't go on NaNo? I think that's only for if you want to post in the Forums.

Nope, my parents just don't want me to and I don't have the time or energy to have a conversation with them about it. My mom's really strict about screentime and/or using the internet besides the CB.

I used to be in the forums all the time as FrostWolf, but I haven't been on NaNo in forever. I occasionally check the classroom. I really should get back on there...

Yes! When you are on your Dashboard, just click on the viking man who asks if you want to join a Classroom. Click yes, type in the code, and it should say "Do you want to join Cricket Chatterbox Writing Academy?" and then you click yes. It's pretty easy, actually. I would have joined sooner exept I thought the the classrooms werer for, like I said, actual classrooms.

Oh! Thanks for posting about the NaNo site, Vyolette, I was curious about it but knew basically nothing except that it was for NaNoWriMo. Now I might join! Yay! Dunno what my mom will say, though. I'll have to ask her.
