Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

I've just been to one of the best concerts of my life.

I saw Poppy, a singer who mocks pop culture by pretending to be the ‘perfect’ pop star with bleach blond hair, Barbie doll like clothes, everything! Some people find her creepy and say she’s a robot, but with a bit of research you can find out that she’s just an actress with little story of creativity! So of course, I absolutely love her.

We got to the concert 3 hours before we were let in and there were only 5 people in front of us in line. One of my best friends who I met over the internet and had never met before was also going, and we ended up standing together, which was so cool and fun! 

We got second row right in the center, and of course there were no seats, it was general admission. At one point there are these cups of kool-aid or cranberry juice or something of the sort that they hand out to a few people, and my friend ended up getting one! Then during the next song, Poppy held his hand! 

As for me, Poppy held my hand a few songs later, but the highlight of the show was when one of her backup dancers took my phone as I was recording and recorded her very up close for me! Ahh, the video is so incredible!

Meeting an internet friend was so amazing, and the concert was wonderful.
