What happened to Kyngdom? Did it die? I haven't been up-to-date on events here recently and I'm curious.

AAAA I HAD AN IDEA!!! What if Sylvia's been in hiding for so long because she's had a foal and has been raising it?
(January 9, 2018 - 8:23 pm)
Whoa, can Powers even reproduce? Would the babies be magic? Even if they aren't, people will probably think they are, and either way it would be a perfect opportunity to gain leverage against their parents. It could work, but don't forget, this would be the creation of a new character who will likely become important. Don't start it if you can't write it.

You'd be surprised at how much I can manage at once. I'd be able to do this, no problem!
(January 10, 2018 - 5:20 pm)
I'll hold you to that. Sounds good, then!

Plot summary! Aw man, it's been ages since I did one of these. *stretches writing muscles*
With no one around to write for them, the Powers lost their place in the spotlight. The focus instead shifted to the Resistance and their Power-less war on Catastrophe. Ronan explained that the latter had discovered the tale of three ancient, powerful magic relics known as the Sword, the Shield and the Crown. With all three, he would be able to rule Kyngdom forever. But they must be collected in order. He took the Sword easily and set out for the Shield, attending a meeting with several Resistance members on the Oracle's flower in Eastern Kyngdom for a prophecy. A decoy was discovered and the flower burned. Catastrophe took the decoy, thinking it the real Shield, and set out for the Crown, which was in the possession of Queen of the Dolor Felis and Resistance General Mina. Catastrophe crashed an event she was attending and the whole thing turned into an all-night battle. It is unclear who won.
Harbor Reinedela Mer (and I do hope I spelled that right) died, leaving behind an heir named Ocean. shadow returned to life, sans wings and on the agreement that she take the lives of five specific people or never enter the afterlife. Brynn, the Angel of Death, also died, and Alexandria turned out to have never died in the first place, escaping SOCS, dyeing her hair and taking the name Marie. Headmistress Rigga also died at the hands of Mina and her now-also-deceased friend (read: romantic partner) Baron, and the SOCS was largely if not entirely dissolved. The Elites discovered that elf magic, in sufficient quantities, may have an effect against Jaaws. One of my charries found a magically protected old house in Great Forest (or was it Secret Forest?), and a promising apprentice practitioner of magic from another world will be coming soon.
The Resistance had a diplomatic meeting with Catastrophe and his officers, after which Mina drained the Crown's power into herself, and Alexandria/Marie took that power into herself, saying she knew how to control/safely dispose of it. Catastrophe was told that the Crown had been drained and that the Shield was being drained and now believes their power to be gone. The whereabouts of the true Shield are only known to Trixie W., a member of the Elites, and possibly her family.
Icy left with the/an Oracle to look for the Powers, and Caelani took Blazing Star's drum. Ayearth is possibly evil/possessed, and many Sideaffected Powers have allied with Catastrophe.
I probably missed some stuff, and I definitely skipped over some details, but that's most of it as I remember. Hope this helps!

I believe Ayearth is chained under the sea somewhere.
(January 10, 2018 - 4:08 pm)
That's... a lot of stuff. I recognize few of the characters, but I get the general idea - thank you for the summary! A question, though - did Caelani take the drum with ill intent? Was Blazing Star harmed in the process, or did she give it willingly?
(January 10, 2018 - 5:28 pm)
I believe Blazing Star wasn't harmed, and that Caelani took the drum with good desires in mind.
(January 11, 2018 - 1:44 pm)
Good desires, but not diplomatic methods. Not in the end, anyway. He came to her as a white crow, tried talking her into it for a few minutes, then took it directly, to her dismay. I believe you're right, though, she wasn't injured at all.
(January 11, 2018 - 9:46 pm)
Why did he need to take it, though? What was his motive?
(January 11, 2018 - 11:12 pm)
to activate Sylvia, of course! (Except for the little problem of which she's not in there)
I love the idea of Sylvia having a foal! I mean, it makes sense that she's the only power who can have children, because she's the power of life. So in a way...the foal's not directly her child....but is her child...because she created it....but didn't she create everyone else too? Also, the foal can be what Caelani was hearing, the thumping of hooves like Sylvia was trying to break free. But really it was just the echo of her child's hooves running through their heads. (Because...they can mind read each other...right?)
ah, anyway, cealani and ayearth are possesed by Jaaws, so is Ayearths sideaffected power (she found a way to possess powers too, something using catastrophe and The brazen goo) but not Ecio, at least not yet. And I'm playing Whist I guess?
(January 12, 2018 - 11:49 pm)
I meant the foal would be a direct descendant of her - although I have no idea who the father would be. XDD
What did he do with the drum when he discovered that Sylvia was absent? What happened to Blazing Star when he left?
Hallia says ripp - RIP Sylvia 2016-2018
(January 13, 2018 - 9:32 am)
Well...I thought we established a while ago that the Powers cannot have children, because well, who exactly would be the other parent...and I guess they don't exactly have genders....because they're magical gods and all....
remember? Because Moonshadow wanted Lunee to have a child, but we decided that wouldn't make much sense. But it can be a direct descendent of Sylvia in a way, she can make the foal look just like her and act almost like her, maybe because she wanted to try raising a child because Celesti had children and she liked them? (Sorry grammer bad. ;) But no, she can't like actually give birth to a foal. But it's basically the same thing as to just create her, like she made everything else, right?

Oh rip it's too late - I can take down my post :')

Hai!
Anyway, I rejoined after quitting, and now I'm playing as Mitchell Bluebell and Iyana Greenwillow, a human and a ghost girl who like to travel and play music for whoever listens. I haven't checked in a while, so I don't know if anything has happened recently.
