Happy 2018! What did everyone do last night, or what are you doing today? I stayed up past midnight. The last thing I did in 2017 and the first thing I did in 2018 was eat a piece of pie. XD

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Wow, I just realized, that if the millenia (I think?) 2000 were a person, he/she would have just become of age! XD

Happy New Year everyone! My family spent New Year’s with our friends (who we see every year at New Year’s) at our ski house. My brother, our 3 friends, and I all shared a room and one of our friends, my brother and I stayed up til midnight and watched the ball drop on my phone. We were supposed to be asleep so we whispered 10, 9, 8.... while our parents shouted it downstairs.

Turquoise says tutk. King Tut? What does that have to do with New Year’s?

Happy 2018! Did any of you make resolutions? I resolved to think of others before myself, and to write a complete draft of my novel!

On December 31st we stayed up late watching Stranger Things. Then I read for a bit, but I think I fell asleep before midnight.

Happy New Year, everyone!! @Leeli, my friends and I stayed up until the sun rose, which was around 7:15- my first official all-nighter! I had so much sugar, though, that I wasn't even tired.

Ironically, my New Year's resolution is to get more sleep.

Happy new year! My family stayed up until midnight and told scary stories around the bonfire. Then we lit sparklers and ate ourselves sick with marshmallows.

Happy New Year, everyone!!

I stayed up until midnight in my time zone (Central) and then drank ginger ale in champagne flutes. It was actually really fun. :)

Happy New Year! I went to an annual party at a friend's house, started feeling dreamlike around ten and sat in a corner for the better part of an hour, met some people, witnessed a new couple's first kiss, got to bed around two in the morning. It was fun.

I went to a party at my friend's (who lives next door) house. All her friends from school are really weird and crazy, so we had a ton of fun. Her dad was fine with us staying up all night, so when it was the New Year we all went outside and lit off fireworks. We didn't actually watch the ball drop, though.

Happy New Year!!!!

My new years eve was not the best that I've had, especially compared to previous amazing years, but it was alright. During the day we made the most amazing donuts at my grandmas house and I had about five (which may have been too many). We were in Texas visiting family for the break so we couldn't have any friends over, and the roads were too icy for our cousins to make it. We watched Oh Brother Where Art Thou (which my 7 year old sister definitely did not need to see and had to be taken into another room several times) and tried to light fireworks that were at least three years old and did not work in the slightest. We didn't get to stay up very late, only until about 12:45, because we were flying back the next day and had to wake up early (aka 9).

For one hour I was in a different year as my friends - they had made it to the new year, and because we were in Texas we were an hour behind.

Does anyone have any new years resolutions? Becuase I don't!

I stayed up past midnight because I had to finish a biology test! My family stayed at my cousins' house and watched Doctor Strange without me which was a unique betrayal I never expected. Especially because comic book Doctor Strange is my favorite super hero! But I watched it by myself the night before last, so all is well. And I loved it! The Marvel people did it so well.
