My real name is Alexandra, but on here, I'm calling myself Magnolia Lavandula, because I couldn't decide which one to make my name on here! Magnolia is my favorite type of flower, but lavandula is the scientific name for lavender, which is my favorite color and one of my favorite types of flowers, too! So I just decided to do both!
Anyways, I get the Cricket magazine, and I saw this on there one day, and I said to myself, "That's interesting, why don't I try it out?" So I came on here and looked around, and it seemed really fun! So I decided to join!
I like writing stories and poetry; my friends and I share stories with each other ALL THE TIME and edit each other's stories. This is a writing website so I think I'll love it here! I also like math; at my school, there are a lot of math programs that are really fun! I think school is really fun, too, becaues I've skipped grades in a whole bunch of classes and can learn new things every day! Even though it means more homework. :(
Because I have lots of other commitments, such as homework, I won't have THAT much time to spend on this website. Is that okay? I hope it is, this place seems SO fun!

I'm Aspen, but you probably already noticed. And that's totally fine! Don't worry about not being able to do as much, I know I'm probably overcommitted as it is. XD I would highly recommend checking out some of the RPs on the Inkwell.
RP stands for RolePlay Game, and in case you don't know what it is, it's where one person gives a setting and stuff and people make characters and write usually in first person present tense (which is awesome) and create a story. I don't know what the link to the ultimate guide to CB is but someone will always give it to a new CBer. (short for Chatterboxer)

Hello Magnolia! Obviously, Bluebird isn't my real name either... I'm Amelia irl. I also like to write poetry, and I also enjoy math, most of the time! Do you skip grades in math? Would that mean you're in Pre-Algebra or Algebra? I started Algebra last year and I'm finishing the book now, I like it a lot. There are some poetry threads on Puddings Place that I'd definitely recommend checking out, and also the Inkwell. Magnolia Lavandula is a beautiful name, by the way :) I'm glad to have you here, welcome to the CB!

Hello Bluebird! Nice to meet you! Yes, I skip grades in math. Our school does math classes in this order: Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, then calculus and things like that. I'm taking Geometry this year!

Hello, and welcome! I took the liberty of drawing the flowers that compose your name. Drawing is most of what I do, aside from school, reading and sometimes writing. This isn't the best photo, so I might try again in the morning.
There was a magnolia tree at my old school up until a few years ago, and I used to collect the fallen petals every spring. If I was lucky, I could get a whole flower, which I would often pick apart. I found a quarter from 1877 under it once. And I'm rambling again, sorry. I'll stop now.

Welcome to the CB, Magnolia Lavandula! You sound like you like the same kinds of things I like :). I wanted to skip grades, but instead I get to be in an advanced math class, where we get challenge problems every few days.
I also have increasing commitments and can't get on as often as I used to, but that is relatively normal and perfectly okay.
I joined for the same reason!
