Hello loves! So, I know I never officially left, per say, but it’s been a looooonnngggg time since I’ve lsat been on. I am sorry about that, truly. But freshman year of high school is.... woah. A lot happening. I suddenly have all these new friends (whom I love, they make me laugh so easily). I actually like my teachers now (private school, at least the one I’m going to with the Riddler, is such a perfect fit for me!). And my grades, though it takes more work than it did in middle school, are mostly fantastic. It’s winter break now and I’m kind of sad because most of my friends are boarders (a term used for students that live on campus. It’s a college prep/ boarding school, so about 55% of people at my school are boarders) and they’ve all gone home to their respective countries for the holidays. China, the Filipines, Poland, Cayman islands, Dominica, Canada and so many more. It’s also really funny because in most of my friends groups now, I’m the youngest, but I kind of act like the big sister of the group. Sooo many junior/ senior friends that’ll be gone long before me.
Sooooo I need you guys to tell me EVERYTHING about what’s been going on over the past few months. Who’s new? Who’s gone? Please tell me there haven’t been any more wars. What’re the newest book trends on here? Actually, I do need some suggestions. Illl go check out some threads on BaB. How’s everyone’s school years going? Have y’all taken midterms (supppppperr stresfulllll aghhhh)?
Ive missed this place and all of you. It’s nice to be back. What threads shall I join?

Hi! I only vaguely remember you; I joined in April. You might know me. I'm Kitten. As for the CB, nothing major has been going on. There was a sort of minor war between Monkwees and Pangwangs (long story), some new people have joined, a bunch of threads have been posted, and a bunch of threads have died.

Yes, you can call me Vy! I actually sign my posts like that sometimes! Yeah, and, uh, apparently Catsclaw's CAPTCH/AE, Blazestar, has taken a liking to my CAPTCHA, Agatha. It's.....complicated. Hrmmmm, favortite book? I'd have to say, well, no I guess it does'nt count because it's a series, but I love Keeper of The Lost Cites, with Six of Crows and The School for Good and Evil coming in close seconds. Author-wise, probably James Oliver Currwood, or Shannon Messenger. I am definatly a cold person. I live in the Northland (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, ect.), so I kinda have to be. XD Rain and snow are both great, but it depends. If it's a howling snowstorm, with the temperatures dipping to below freezing and my animals dying of frostbite, then definatly rain. But if it's a gale, with ripping winds and thunder and lightning, then definaly snow. As I said, it depends XD What about you?

Book? Ehmmm I can’t pick. Anything written by Sarah J Maas is great, which also answers the favorite author piece. I definitely prefer heat/ warmth. Can’t stand the cold, or snow. I’m a summer lover til the end. And rain is so beautiful and poetic, so loveeeeee it.
haha, it seems that we’re opposite on several things. Oh well, that’ll make for an interesting friendship at least!

HIYA TUX!!!!!! Yes, yes I do remember you. I remember enjoying your writing quite a bit. It’s going pretty well. School, not too stressful now because I’m on break, but was stressful a week ago. Winter’s nice, I guess. It gives me an excuse to go to the dining hall between classes to grab a cup of tea and not get judged for it. ;) what about you????

Maas creates and am so annoyed we have to wait till September of next year for the next Throne of Glass book. Yet at the same time I desperately don't want it to end. Well, there's always rereads. Anyway, enough ranting. Looking forward to the cheesecake and caramel.

Hold up, halcmvonjofniwefykmspqcdojcs4fmk ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. I can’t believe it! I love meeting other fans!! Oh, and have you heard about the next installment of ACOWAR? I guess it’s not really an installment, but it takes place in the same world and stuff. It’s supposed to be called A Court of Frost and Starlight, and the cover is gorgeous!
Also, yesyeysyeysyeysssss I totally get that feeling of both anticipation and of just nooooooo I don’t want this beautiful series to be overrrrr. You only get to read a book for the first time once, and then after that it’s just... not quite as magical.
Anywho, looking forward to seeing around to fangirl more!

Omg dont get me STARTED on Finals. You know what Im doing right now? Procrastinating. And trust me sweets, it only gets worse from here. Youre merrily a freshy, and next year...oh hello AP! Here to kill me? Fun! And the year after that, oh hello DP! Here to burn whats left of my soul? Ok! And finally.... oh hey SATs! What, you're going to ruin my life if I don't ruin my own life first? That sounds great!
And then off you go to collage (which some sources say is easier then AP world history. Id like to see them try to make it harder (its impossible)). Do you wanna know what we have to do for that final? 50+ multiple choice questions, 2 SAQs plus more questions, and a full blown DBQ with added question and document anylisis. Oh, and this is just the begiing. For the actually test we have to do atleast 100 multiple choice questions, like, 10 SAQs (maybe 11 not sure) 3 DBQs, and the dreaded LAQ. Yaaay. I advize you to not take the AP and DP classes, you learn nothing and just be confused the whole time until bam! The test is here and everyones like "you dont have to get a perfect score....but if you do you get scholerships and you dont need loans and bla bla bla bla....." but, the thing is, it goes to fast to actually learn anything, so unless you learn at super human speed...skip the AP and live out your perfect lives! *raises hands to the sun*

Oh, hold on, I forgat some rant.
So, im in advanced math. Guess what? Teacher 'doesnt belive in teaching visual spacials' welp. Im currently failing the class. Me trying to cram in as much math as possible on my arm. (Its not cheeting if they dont catch you!) (dont listen to my advice, kids. Unless your teacher is refusing to peoperly educate you. Then go on ahaid.) and guess what it gets better! If I fail the class, I will not only have to take it again...but my parents will ground me from my phone, my friends, AND TAKE AWAY MY FREAKING DANCE.
So. Prospect of me getting less then a 2.5 is 99.9%. If I do, my parents take everything away. Fun right.

oh, geez that really sucks about the history. And math. Probably two of my least favorite subjects, to be honest. I really don’t know how you havent spontaneously combusted from frustration yet, as I know I would’ve. Ackkkkk I HATE DBQs with a burning passion.
Thankfully, at my school we do have an AP program, but not many people actually take it because if this beautiful torture device known as the Inter Bacalaureate program (I’m pretty sure I spelt it wrong), better known as the IB. It’s for juniors and seniors, and within that there’s two levels known as HL and SL. It’s literally the hardest thing ever, according to my friends, but it’s supposed to be totally worth it because “colleges love to see that you’ve taken the most challenging course possible during your high school career”.a also, it offers international credits to those that want to go to university somewhere outside the USA.
I actually don’t know how I did on my exams yet. I’ll find out when the final semester grades come In. Fingers crossed I did okay, but I’m reallllyyyy stressed about bio. How is it that bio is my favorite class, I study the most for it, and yet I’m still doing the worst in it?????
anyways, CLAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWSSSSSSS!!!, I MISSED YOU SOOO MUCH! Are you in any RPs currently? You should totally start a new one! Your ideas are always great. It’s great to see ya again, luv. Can’t wait to write alongside you.

dude, IB? My school is an IB school, so dont know if that counts or not.
I mean, I usually like history, WHEN WE ACTUALLY HAVE TIME TO LEARN STUFF some things are really cool and whatnot. (I LEARNED MORE FROM A VIDEO THAN ALL OF AP *writes in big letters in hope history teacher or parents will hear and let switch classes*)
Side note, my counclers letting me switch math classes....to a different teacher....who will actually take the time to teach me properly. Though I havent heard good things about her.....at least I wont fail the class! (Now I got to focus on not failing this next test. And stop procrastinating. OMG I HATE FINALS. I choose this week to come back....shows how much of a procrastinator I am....
guess what. So aparently college is a lot easier than high school and theyre just tourchering us because people hate our generation apparently. Theyre like 'everything you do will be on your perminate record...bla bla bla....you cant be friends with her because shes a bad influance.....bla...tests....more tests...OMG I CANT WAIT TO GET OUT OF THIS AND GO TO COLLAGE. do you think they gives scholarships for dancing? Or art? Maybe if I write them a story and become a best selling author? (Hahaha.....ha....)

Huh, I’ve never heard of an IB school. That’s interesting. yes, I completely agree, finals are horrid.
Haha, thanks! I kind of picked it up from watch Once Upon a Time on Netflix. I though it was cute, so I thought what better way to try it than on the CB? If it works out well on here, maybe it’ll carry over into real life.
