States! Since everyone is making threads about their home states, let's just have a place to share/talk about what state you live in. Also, for writers, if you have questions about an area, here would be a good place to ask them!
I live in Central IL. Although I'm lucky enough to live close to a small city (college town sized, I guess?) I don't really like living here. One of the reasons is because we get both extremes when it comes to temperature. The coldest day I remember experiencing was -15 degrees, it usually gets down to negatives in the winter, and in the summer, we always have at least a couple 100 degree days. Argh! A perk of living in Central IL is that I'm pretty much right in the middle of 3 big cities- Chicago, Indy, and St. Louis. So if I wanted to move to a city or go to college in one when I was older, I woulld have options, and it wouldn't be too far of a stretch.

I live in Northern Wisconsin. And, guess what? As I am typing these very words, it is snowing outside!!! First snowfall of the year!! YAY! And a rather early one at that! Last year, it was well past Thanksgiving till we had our first snowfall...and now I'm off track. Anyways....
I also live in the central axis of several large cities. St. Paul, Minneapolis, Duluth, all those cities are no more than 1-2 hours away. I love where I live. It's not so rual, and it's not so urban either. Right in the middle of them both. I love the Winters especially, though if it stayed in the 20's and 30's instead of dipping into the negatives, I would be a little bit happier. One of my cats actually lost a tip of a ear to frost bite a few years back, and we had to cut it off, it was so...dead. She if fine now, though, and we have not had anymore problems with frost bite since. Summers can get a little hot, true, but it's nothing a good air-conditioned house can't fix!
@Bluebird- While traveling one year in the summer, we drove past Chicago. It. Is. Huge. All of those sky-scapers, and bridges, it's makes St. Paul or Minneapolis look puny!

Ah, I know, right! I've been to Chicago a few times for baseball games (go Sox!) and it's amazing! And wow, it's snowing already? I really hope it doesn't snow for a while here.

I live in Washington. I like that we have a mild climate, that doesn't get too hot or too cold. The rain is nice, because it makes it green and beautiful, but it can get annoying sometimes.

I live in SC! We don't really get a winter down here...more like an extended summer.

Haha, Rose bud, it's the same thing in SoCal where I live. There is literally no such thing as winter or autumn.

I was born in Texas! So I feel some comraderie towrds it...:) Also, I think that Doctor Who lives on Texas. Maybe?

I live in a suburb right outside of Kansas City, Kansas. So yeah. Any other Kansans out there? I know that MysticLion (if you remember her), Clouded Leopard, and Poetic Panda all live near me (cause, I mean, I know them irl XD) but is there anyone else?

I live in Northern Georgia. The only other CBers that I know of that live in Georgia are the one's I that live in my town.

My sister goes to ATL Georgia a bunch for work. (a bunch being 3 times this year, so, not a ton, but it is REALLY FAR for her to drive. like 14 hours.) Anywho, she really wants to live there. I'll be sure to tell you if she moves!
