I'm curious, I was reading Nebs's thread and apparently a bunch of us live in NYS! You don't have to tell me where in New York you live, but how many of us actually live there? I live in NYC.
I grew up in Rochester, NY, but live in Illinois now. I love the Finger Lakes area, Lake Ontario, and the Adirondacks!

My dad grew up in rural NY and my grandma and step-grandpa still live there.
I live in Portland, Maine, and apparently Joss lives in Maine too...but what irks me is that she's gone (*sob*) so I can't ask her what county or town she lives in. ALSO what irks me is that Jarvis was in Portland a few months ago!!! But I was at home all day so there was no way I could have met him.

Wow, I didn't know so many of you lived in NY! I'm on the East Coast, but nowhere near New York or Maine, unfortunately. It's funny because sometimes I notice that people post in different time zones, and that there are often the same people on at the same time as me when I'm on the CB.

Yup, I live in New York too! Brooklyn, actually. And no, I have never been to the Empire State Building or the Freedom Tower or the Statue of Liberty. Though I have been to the Willis Tower. I guess no one goes and tours their own city.

I do! When I was younger I went all around Richmond, Virginia (where I live) on class trips and family trips and such. Richmond (and Virginia in general, to be honest) is rich with history!

I've seen the Empire State Building, but I've never really been near it. I certainly have been to a lot of places that are considered "tourist attractions," but like coyote, I haven't ever been to the Statue of Liberty either. Apparently it's just walking up millions of claustrophobic stairs for a view you could get from the harbor!

@Admins, I grew up in Rochester too! I moved to Hawaii in 4th grade and I just moved back here. It's been wonderful having Abbot's pumpkin ice cream again.
OH, I've only had Abbott's chocolate, but it's awesome!

I do know a Yisroel S! Is he around 14? Does he have an older sister named Shira who's 17 (or 16, not sure) because she was one of my best friends when I was younger! The Yisroel I know was in my brother's class.
