You lived in Hawaii, Nebs? I had no idea! Haha, if you were in New York last week you wouldn't be complaining, we were still in the 80s. It only started cooling down this week (thank goodness, it didn't feel like October when it was so warm).

Wow, you're taking college courses! That's awesome! I really want to do that once it becomes available to me, sitting in on a college class sounds really really fun and being an insider, I know exactly what sorts of things they discuss and it's super interesting! Are you liking it?

I'm sorry your mom got sick, glad she's better!

I'm doing good! Actually this year I'm involved with the high school application process which is taking up almost all of my free time. Luckily it's going to taper off after next week, I think. Oh, and my Magical Creatures solo write is coming along! Slowly - wow actually I haven't updated for a long time (but you see my excuse) - but it's almost done and you should definitely read the parts I posted because I'm so excited about it! 

That's about it on my front, I'm sure the people who are on the CB a little longer than I am per day can tell you more about what's going on.

What! I'm in New York, too! Not the city, but the state. I wonder how close we live? Also, 60 degrees is a pretty comfortable temperature for me. I think the summer raised my body temperature, though. I remember at the beginning it felt like my hands were on fire. If you're really cold, try tighter clothes, warmer/heavier fabrics, layers, hats, extra socks... If you're going to be here all through winter, you'll want a good warm coat, a pair of gloves and some boots. You probably knew that, though. Why am I still talking? Welcome back!

I live in New York too (!!!) and *scans post* oh dear... if you live in upstate New York now, anywhere within a three mile radius of Rochester, get a bunch of cozy clothes. Where I live, regular winter temperatures are around 10-30 degrees, and we get a big snowstorm in March, along with small amounts of snow from November-February. I suggest stocking up on hot chocolate as well. It would be cool if you, Viola? and Foxy (Lola C.) all lived near me!

I grew up in Rochester, NY! But I live in Illinois now. I love winter! You just have to dress for the cold and snow, then have fun!

That's SUPER cool that you're taking college classes. And about the tempature thing, I can sympathize- I pretty much start wearing my winter coat at 50 degrees, even though I've lived in IL my whole life and should be used to it by now! (Curse you, cold-person genes!) I would definitely consider buying either a space heater, an incredibly thick fluffy blanket, or fuzzy socks- they help! It stinks that your mom got sick, but I'm glad she's better!
