Ok, Admins, I know what you are thinking, and no. I am not going to post codes, just talk about them, and encourage others to do so. Anyways...

Does anyone out there but me LOVE codes? Or is it just me? Somebody out there must be as into codes as me, and if you are, this is the place to talk about it. Some of my favorites are Caesar's code, Morse, and the Pig Pen cypher. I even created my own code, called Bedazzled Cypher, where I used Greek, Ugaric Cruneiform, Morse, and all the symbols I could think of, and, with a little tweeking, created my very own cypher. I wish I could show you, but as you know, it is a no-no with the Admins, and my computer doesnt exactly have Greek and Ugaric keys:)  I would become a Cryptographer, if it did not have to use so much math. (I am really bad at math!:))

So, is there ANYONE out there who has a love of cyphers as much as me?

Yes! I tried to start a cypher thread but Admins said no. I like the pigpen cypher but a lot of people know it. Caesar cyphers are great, especially the classic 13 shift because you can write it like this:

A   B   C   D   E   F   G   H    I    J   K   L   M 

N   O   P   Q   R   S   T   U   V   W   X   Y   Z 

Just exchange each letter with the one above/below it. 

Your Bedazzled Cypher sounds awesome and really complicated! 

Have you heard of book codes? You decide on a book beforehand and refer to it with page number, line number, and letter number. Like 12.9.17 would be page 12, line 9, and letter 17. And they can't be broken unless you know the book!

I like cyphers too, although I admit I'm not patient enough to ever solve them. I made my own too, it's kind of like the Caeser cypher but you shift the letters every letter. Okay, I'm really bad at explaining ot, but it's hard to crack.

If you're up for a bit of math (you don't have to understand it, I didn't!), I'd recommend the book In Code. It's about this girl who did a cryptography project.

Ooh, yes! I use an alternate alphabet I found in a book all the time--it doesn't really have a name, but no one I know can read or write it except me. I also have the Morse alphabet and one I found in a webcomic written down.
