Half-Rant, Half-PSA thing...

So I go to year-round swim practice practically every day.  And after, the coach (I have 2 coaches.  Let's call them B and C) which is usually C will tell us to pick up the kickboards and buoys after practice.  I almost always listen to what the coach, whether it be B or C, says.  I notice that C says to "Pick up after ourselves," while B says to "Clean up the kickboards."  I don't see anything different about these two statements, seeing as there is nothing else toclean up besides the kickboards and buoys.  But when C says it, NO ONE picks up kickboards except me.  For the longest time, I haven't even cared.  I just thought that I could just be a nice person.   When B says it, more people do pick up the kickboards.  But I am still left to pick up kickboards.  I kept doing it, for the longest time, I still didn't care.  But today, I broke.  Maybe it was from the difficult practice.  Maybe it was because I had two practices today.  But when C told us to pick up the boards, I picked them up, put them in a pile, and dropped it in front of the people at the showers.  I took one board and one buoy from the pile, and told the rest of the people to pick the rest up.  Some guy said, "Thanks, Lucy!" but I didn't respond because I DIDN'T NEED THANKS.  I NEEDED APOLOGIES.
