But I'm not thirteen yet, as of 9:06 A.M. (How does that work, you may ask? Well, I was born at 12:30 in the afternoon, so about three hours to go until I was actually born...)
I have to wait until after dinner for presents and cake. How does it work for you guys?

Happy birthday, Pepper Star! May I ask, why did you pick your name? It reminds me of condiment supernovas, which is, I assure you, a positive association :)
I was born at 10:30 at night on July 3rd, so I was almost a fourth of July baby. The majority of people, it seems, after learning this fact tell me that I get to have fireworks on my birthday. Yes, I am well aware of that. My brother the night owl always insists that I shouldn't be allowed to open my presents until late at night, but as that would be inoppurtune for anyone other than himself his requests fall on deaf ears.

Anyway, happy birthday! I usually get presents waiting at the breakfast table, although we're supposed to wait to open them so our parents can watch. Then we have cake at lunch and/or dinner.

@Butterfly, It's a french pastry thing that is kind of like a pie, but with no top and thinner crust. It's pretty good.
