Y'know what? Last day before I left, I was super busy typing up goodbyes and vacation notices on other websites, plus packing and greeting the guy that was gonna dog-sit and doing all sorts of last-minute things, that I completely forgot to let y'all know I was leaving. And by the time I remembered, I was in a hotel in Edinburg with only a cell phone that can't do anything properly and a dead, horrible Kindle.
Anyway, enough with excuses. I WENT TO SCOTLAND! For eleven days. Seven of those were spent hiking sixty-two miles from Melrose to the Holy Island of Lindesfarne (otherwise known as St. Cuthburt's Way). It was a lot of fun, absolutely gorgeous, and I really enjoyed myself.
Anyway! What have you all been up to? Anything important that I missed? New people coming, old people leaving, big new threads? Fill me in!

Welp, Sara F. is here, she's new. The Hogwarts role-play I'm in has finall gotten off the train and into Hogwarts, and please say something in the Hotel Alterium AE thing. Woop!

I did not personally wear a kilt, but I saw quite a few people who were. And, may I just say, playing recordings of bagpipes is a crime against humanity. I wanted to smash the speakers doing it. (and give one of the shop's clerks a pair of bagpipes. I, personally, had to resist the incredible urge that is making such beautiful music.)
