Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

@Admins, I have

@Admins, I have a maybe solution to this whole kerfluffle about gender identity etc? If you'd rather not post this, I totally respect your decsicion.

I think that instead of having a gender field on RPs, Solo Writes, etc, we should put a 'preferred pronoun' field, so that way it accomodates any character. By no means should anyone be required to do this, but I feel like it might make things a little easier for everyone.

Again, Admins, if you'd rather not post this, I understand, but I also have a really random question: if I'd like for you to check something with in my post, is it better for me to put @Admins in the text body or September @Admins in the name field? Thanks!

We'd prefer you just address Admin in the text of the comment. The Name field should be solely for the name of the person who is submitting the comment.

Hm. If we're going for a compromise, this is one possibility. It gets the message across of the character without going into detail, as it seems that is often deemed inappropriate for the Chatterbox. Preferred pronoun isn't anything "inappropriate." It's simply he, she, they, etc.

I've already started doing this in RPs and other stuff, and I think it's a good idea. It's inclusive without having an overspecific discussion of the topic. :)

I kind of just stopped putting a gender section in my RPs anyway.
