I don't want to freak anyone out, so I'll say this- I'm not officially leaving. But I've been thinking about. For whatever reason, whenever I come on CB, I don't feel as excited as I used to. Most threads don't interest me, and I don't feel any inspiration to write a post or add anything to my Solo Write on Down to Earth. It just doesn't seem to... invigorate me as much as it did. I'm not sure whether I'll officially leave or not, but I might take a break- a hiatus of sorts. My story, "The Mystery of the Beast" will be put on hold indefinitely. I might finish it on my own time and share it then, but for now parts will be either very slow or not there.
I apologize for possibly freaking anyone out, and I'd like to hear what you think about this.

Well, I'm just worried. If it really is you, I beg of you not to leave. You are brilliant, I love the story, I adore your AEs (especially Mew and 8), you are fantastic in everything you do. You have been an amazing friend, and I'd be devastated if you left.

Oh guys, don't worry; it is me! No impersonators here, thankfully. I suppose I left out capital letters for some kind of effect, matching with my mood at the time. Because I guess I do sound a lot more... down than usual. I don't have depression or anything nearly as severe as that, but I do have a few anxiety and confidence problems that I don't like to let leak into the CB. Because it is a place for fun! Somewhere you can go to let go of anything going on in your life and just chat with other artists and writers and people who share your interests. So I don't like to drag down the mood with any stuff like that.
I have decided that I'm not going to leave forever (I would never abandon you guys like that!), but I am going to take a break from now to around the end of July. I might stop in a make an occasional post, but for the most part I'll be gone.
I'll see you guys then! <3

I support this, I did the same thing for a couple months and now I have renewed interest in the CB. You may even find yourself staying away for longer than you originally intended but once you come back it'll be worth it, and it's definitely a better option than leaving permanently in my opinion. See you in a month or two!

Phew, I was worried you were impersonated when I first read the thread. This may sound strange, I have had a few phases where I just sorta drift off the CB, barely posting at all, or not at all, and then after a bit, I come back. I haven't been in in a while, and this is one of those 'phases' that I'm just starting to come back from. I'm glad you aren't leaving permanently, though. :)

Oh, thank goodness it is you! I completely understand, and if it is not permanent then I support it. Like HAB and Leeli said, we all have our moments where we just have to take a break. Although unlike me, you actually give us warning! I just disappear without a trace half the time.
I understand confidence and anxiety issues. It's stressful and hard facing that and trying to resist it coming into the CB. You are a strong girl, stay that way! I am glad you were so thoughtful of us, not wanting to bring down the mood. I really appreciate that CL, I think we all do.
We'll miss you, but hopefully, that break does you good! When you return - if you still want to - we'd love to hear the rest of your story.

CL, if you feel you need a break to refresh and reset, take as long as you want and need! We'll miss you but it's the right thing to do. And I won't go crazy--

Enjoy your time away. And the selfish me is whispering that you're gonna enjoy your time back more than you enjoy your time away---
