What would be

What would be your reaction if I posted this?

But wait, if you're reading this, then I already have posted it, and you are actually recieving a time capsule of some sort, a ghost of a wondering that I had but is a question no longer, because, if you are reading this, you are having some sort of reaction, even if that is apathy. So the question isn't really proper. I can't be hypothetical, because the answer exists right there in concrete and current (for you, not for the typist) reality. It should be, "what is your reaction to this post?" That isn't right either, though, because the present tense makes it seem like we are talking in a fluid conversation, whereas in reality these words were passed through the Admins and will only be posted a few hours after I click the 'submit' button.

Anyway, proper tenses aside, what is your answer?

Oh yeah, and hi.

Confusion. I love things like this, but they bother me because they don't have an answer. Sometimes my brother and I will just continuously discuss time paradoxes until one of us decides that we would just keep arguing forever and we stop.

My reaction:

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! It's OtR!!! But I think she accidentally had some brain cells from an ancient Greek philosopher grafted onto her own brain, because I can't understand a word she's saying."

XD

Omigandalf, though, OtR! I'm glad to see you.

"What was your reaction to this post when you read it?"

Oh, THAT'S what OtR stands for! I never knew! And that's the tense, I think, although you can read read either way.

Hi, Leafy! **hugs back** Hey, Dandelion and Lighting! I'm sorry, Dandelion, but I don't really think I remember you. Oh, and Lightning is probably right. :)

What's up with everyone?

Oops, haha, Leafpool never actually gave me a hug. But her words were so embracing that I imagined they were accompanied by a hug anyway!

My reaction: Yay, let's see what Over has to say! Wait, what? Hang on, is this a leaving thread? I hope not. Wait, this doesn't make any sense. Let's read it again. Well, ok, might as well reply.

So, hi, Over! I haven't talked to you for a while! *hugs* Welcome home!

BURR!!!!!!! **smooshes with gigantic hugs galore** Thanks! I missed you all.

Jewish thingy: It's Erev Shavuot, as I'm sure you know, and this is the first year that my parents are allowing me to (attempt to) stay up all night at our shul. Unfortunately, I had a bad case of insomnia last night and slept HORRIBLY, so I'm not looking forward to it as much as I would. Hopefully, I'll learn something interesting there to keep me awake! What are some of your family/shul's Shavuot traditions?

Oooh, wow! Good luck! I've never tried staying up all night studying, but I totally should. Maybe not this year, because I have school tomorrow. :P Why can't public schools respect religions other than Christianity? Have you ever noticed that all the breaks just HAPPEN to fall on the Christian holdidays? They don't give us off for any Jewish holidays unless it's a coincidence. It's annoying. I'm not saying we should get off for EVERY Jewish holiday (because there are a ton), but maybe for the major ones, like Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Maybe some days of Sukkot as well. I usually take off school for those days, but then have to make up all the work later. And it's really hard because they come at the begining of the school year. But enough of my rant.

For Shavuot we usually go to Synagogue and hear the Ten Commandments, then eat ice cream with the kids. Actually, my job is generally just making sure the kids don't gorge themselves on sprinkles or eat ice cream directly out of the container XD. Crazy kiddos. This year I didn't get to go because of school. Again, stupid public schooling systems. So good luck to you, and eat lots of ice cream! Study hard!

It kind of matches this: This sentence is a lie. Think about it.

OtR! You most likely don't remember me but when I first started you were on a lot. So... hi! I guess.
