Dudes, I think I'll have to skip this one. My family only goes book-shopping rarely, because the only Chapters (Canadian version of Borders, if I'm not mistaken) that is relatively close by is a few hour's drive away, and we weren't planning on going there anytime soon. I live on top of a mountain, remember? No good bookstores. ;)

No libraries, either?? *wails* POOR BELLATRIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would DIE there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't SURVIVE without BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, Laura! It's not that bad! There are small bookstores, but since we're in Quebec on top of a mountain, the selection's not that good and mostly all French. Chapters is the best place to go, though Borders is definitely as good or probably better. Umm. Before we moved here, there was a town library, but it was pretty dusty and grimy and run-down, and anyway there were barely any English books. So I guess when I think of libraries I think of that. I'm sure there's a library SOMEWHERE around here, but I don't feel like bothering to find it. :)

Hee hee. Yes, I like Borders, too. I didn't know they were in Canada... I forgot you lived there, too... :)

I'm so sorry, Trixy! :(

Can I join? I love to read, but you know how all diffrent aged kids post and some kids might be too big or litte for the book? What if we had a diffrent book for diffrent ages? Like this: ages 9-11 and 12-14 and 14-16?
(June 21, 2009 - 4:37 pm)
It looks to me like Princess Academy fits most of our ages. I think we should stick to one big group, because like the 14-16 age one? The only member in that age range is Laura. And if there aren't as many kids in an age range, some people might feel left out.

I agree, Laura. Also because I'm 11 and I tend to read different books than most other 9- to 11-year-olds. And it wouldn't be too hard to find a book within the age limit of . . . I'd say . . . about 11-15. Anyone can just punch in "[book title] book age recommendation" and get something.

However, you can definitely join. Admin, can you please add:

Carli, where are you? When we finish Princess Academy, your supposed to choose the next book! Were you eaten by a bear or something?
P.S. I won't actually turn 16 until the 16th of July, so until then, wouldn't it be 10-15-year-oldes?
(June 29, 2009 - 6:28 pm)
Did I say I was turning 16? I meant I was turning 11!
(June 30, 2009 - 12:48 pm)
That is ok!
(July 16, 2009 - 5:30 pm)
I'm 11 now!
