Hi, I'm newish

Hi, I'm newish on the CB.

I have been on for a little over a month, I think, so some of you already know me. I do not usually post every day, but I do read through at least every other day.

I got my name from the book Men of Iron by Howard Pyle, Myles Falworth was the main character.

I'm sorry for not posting an "I'm New" thread earlier, I didn't realize it was the norm.

So I do have a couple questions,  can an AE be a different gender than me? and Should I describe what they look like?

P.S. I am a girl, a tomboy but still a girl, sorry if the name is misleading.

Hey Myles! Good to see you again! I never actually made an "I'm New" thread when I joined either.

As for AE's, they're quite often a different gender than the CBer who created them. More oppurtunity for romance that way!

I'm still fairly new here too! (Late January.) I never got around to makeing my "I'm new" thread.

Little-known history of my name: Fireburst is the name of my main villain in a story I'm writing. My Æ Byann is named after his sidekick/advisor.

Hey! Nice to see you! Maybe I should make a Welcome thread too... I've been on a few months now and most people know me, so that might be a little weird. So probably not. Aaaand as to the AE questions: Yes, of course they can be a different gender! Silverwaxwing, for example, has two AEs: Lock and Key, a boy and a girl.  And last I checked Silver wasn't both genders at once! :) Most people just have them be the same gender as them, though, because they can relate. Like my AE, Zoey, is a girl because I am a girl and I know what that feels like. And as to the description, only if you want to. Like some AE chat threads you just jump in, but some other AE threads, like the AE ball, you have to describe what they look like. And, some people choose to make welcome threads for their AEs and CAPTCHAs, and they mostly choose to describe them. Not always though.

Hi Myles! I'm still happy you are back! ;)

And yes, you can make your AE another gender then yourself. I have one girl and one boy AE. You can also have as many as you want! I see that Starseeker already explained this, so I won't go into detail! :) 

Oh, and thanks for using me as an example, Starseeker! :)
