Have any of you guys ever been to a concert? Like, an alternative concert?
I'm just asking because Fall Out Boy is coming to St. Louis on October 21, which is within driving range of me and on a Saturday! If I could get tickets on Stubhub or something for cheaper, and convince someone to go with me, I might actually be able to go!!
Thing is, I'm only 13 and have never been to a concert in my life, and honestly, I think I'd be terrified. Mosh pits just scare me, and I don't know if I could handle being in a huge crowd like that. Do you have any advice for if I do end up being able to go? What are concerts even like?
Also, for Fall Out Boy fans- if you haven't heard, they're releasing a new album, M A N I A, on September 15! I'm so excited!

Oh. My. Gosh. FOB is releasing a new album?!? I had no idea!
also, I've ever been to an alternative concert before, but this summer (hopefully) Imagine Dragons will release a new album, and maybe I could go to one of their shows. Depends on when/if they come to my state.
But if this counts for anything, I have been to a Chris Tomlin concert (yeah there was no moshing and all that but whatever.). There were a LOT of people, everything was really loud, so expect that. Other than that, I don't have anything to say, except that I hope you'll be able to go!

@ Leafmist- Look up tour dates! I don't know where you live, but they're going to be in Cleveland, St. Louis, St. Paul, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, NYC, Philadelphia, Fairfax, Charlotte, Atlanta, Tampa, Houston, Dallas, Denver, Seattle, Oakland, San Diego, Inglewood, and Phoenix. Maybe you'll be able to go to one of them! Thanks for the advice.

Okay. So.
I haven't exactly been to an alternative concert. But there's this band I really love, The Head and the Heart, who when touring with their new album came over here, and my dad got us tickets for a standing concert.
It. was. absolutely. brilliant.
It's crowded and noisy, but everyone's there for one reason: to listen to music that they love. Once the band starts playing, it's absolute heaven. Everyone was dancing and singing along and you just couldn't not move. It can be a little awkward when you're taking your place before the band comes onstage, but afterwards, you'll never regret it. I promise.
