I've been very inactive recently. Aside from my project Hidden, I can't remember the last time I commented on a thread. More than once, I've considered leaving. And yesterday, I almost did.
The other evening, my parents were leaving to take a walk. I was watching some videos online. They said to me, "While we're gone, you're not allowed to play games or watch videos. Why don't you write a story?" It was the last sentence that struck me. I had not written something for the joy of it in so long.. Once they left, I opened a program and tried to write. And I could not do it.
I only have myself to blame. In my absence of the Chatterbox, I've been neglecting my writing skill, and with it my creativity. If I had stayed here all those weeks, if I had nurtured that spark of writing, the mentioned scenario would never have happened.
I haven't written a new part for Hidden in almost half a year. I haven't been dedicated to a roleplay in longer. I've forgotten the feeling of a close-knit community, a place where people know, love, and support each other.
I want to come back. I want to be the way I once was. I want to write again.

Scylla! *Hugs* I was just wondering the other day where you dissapeared off too. . . it's been a while, hasn't it?
Seems like all of us "drift off" at one time or another, huh? :) The CB will always be here for you, no matter how often you drift away. We're always here, and here we'll stay to help you and others with problems, writing, etc.

Scylla, I'm so glad you decided to come back! I know we never knew each other really well, but I want you to know this: ever since I first joined the CB, I've looked up to you. I've always admired you, for more than one reason. Maybe it was because you were an amazing writer, or maybe it was because you're an amazing artist. Maybe it because you were so creative, such a big sort of the CB. But, if it makes you feel any better, ever since I joined, I wanted to be your friend. :) When I saw this thread, I was so scared it was going to be a leaving a thread. But no, its a type of thread much rarer seen: coming back. Everyone will welcome you with open arms, Scylla, I know they will. I'm so glad to have you back in our community, to fill it with your writing, art, creativity, and kindness. We love ya. ;-)

Yeah, I know how you feel. After you're on the CB for a while, we all start to drift off, it's ok. Glad to hear your'e writing again!
