April Fools Thread!
Hi everyone, it's April 1st, so..... Did anyone play any tricks on their parents/friends/siblings?
This thread is for 2 purposes:
1. To tell about pranks you played on people
2. To play pranks on other CBers!
Have fun!

I had a friend's Bar-Mitzvah aaaaall day so I haven't gotten to do anything :(
But there was a party! So that was fun!

I turned the kitchen clocks forward an you, but I told my brother. Then he did the other ones. Then I decided to put them back to normal while he was upstairs. He came down and saw that his watch said the same thing as the clocks that he had adjusted, and he got really mad at me because he thought I had messed with his watch.

@Admin and Silverwaxwing: Thank you! I spent all of last week groaning at my little brother (who had it first) to cover his mouth when he coughed, but I still got sick. I had a fever yesterday, but I don't today and so I am feeling a little better.
@Nebula: I cracked up when I read the first part of your post! And XD, salt-and-sugar switches are one of the oldest tricks in the book, yet they're still surprising and/or hilarious.

Okay. So, I had National History Day competition yesterday, and I was going to do a documentary (on the Newsies Strike of 1899, what else? XD). My parents were uploading my video to the internet, and yesterday morning, my dad told me that not only had it failed uploading to the internet, but the video had deleted itself from iMovie. I started freaking out and crying... then my dad said, "April Fools!" I got so mad that I started beating him up with my newsie cap.
I got second place overall for the documentary category, by the way, and I'm going to State.
Congratulations, and I think that was mean of your father! Not a funny joke.

@Admin
Thanks. I agree 100% that it was a mean and vile joke. My dad is like one overgrown middle schooler sometimes.

I didn't really do anything because my family hates April Fools *sigh*. The most I did was put these little, unrealistic spiders on toilet paper, but my sister, BunnyLoves, was only slightly fazed. Then I went on here and made the whole "Mimi Cheesecake" post leaving hints that it was fake, and some people figured it out. But LAST YEAR oh my goodness, it was interesting. My best friend told me he was going to make cupcakes with a bunch of terrible tasting ingredients, and he'd save a good one for me.
Well... he did make the cupcakes, and told the entire school during lunch to have one. Most everyone did, including myself, and yet guess what? He did a double prank by still getting a bad one for me, and he recorded it all as everyone ate. xD
The year before, we tied a rubber chicken to fishing string and he held it in his pocket with his hands in his pocket, as we walked down the hall with our other friend, talking. Some older girls started screaming, saying there was a rat in the hallway. That was great!
And also two years ago, we stole our principal's large nice chair and gave him a tiny pre-schooler's chair, and he kept it there all day. We tried doing it to our music teacher, who kinda got really mad and... yeah. But our principal loved the joke.
Last year I also made everyone Hogwarts acceptance letters, printed them offline with Hogwarts envelopes. My friend pranked me back by acting as if she really believed me, and I fell for it. Afterward, I asked if she knew that was fake and she said yes, but it was fun to pretend she'd go to Hogwarts. I made myself an acceptance letter too, it was great pretending I'd be going to Hogwarts that fall. Still wish I was...
And that's a list of my past few years of pranks, but there are a ton I've done. Just this year was an "eh" nothing special kinda year.

I had a sleepover on April Fools day. I'm not a prankster so I didn't do anything but my friend taped little note cards on the backs of her brothers while her sister and I were snickering. One sign said " Happy April fools day! P.S. How do ya like me now!?!?" The how do u like me now thing is from the movie Storks. Her brothers have been saying it ALL DAY. The other brother's sign said "Happy April fools day! P.S. Elvis stinks." My friend's brother loves Elvis but she hates him. Yeah they wore them all morning. It was quite funny!
