Sailing in Florida!
Hi everyone!
If you were wondering why I didn't post this weekend, it was because I was 1346.3 miles away from my computer, at a regatta in Florida! There were 245 boats registered from all over the country, as well as Canada, Mexico, and various island countries too numerous to list. After 2 days of (very) heavy wind and 18 races, I was in 192nd place. I got a 40th in the last race!
I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, that is just why I didn't post this weekend.

Wow, Elementgirl, that is s o cool! Did you really come 40th in the whole country, plus Canada, Mexico and more? That is amazing, you are amazing! You must be good! Was it a youth competition, or adults too?

Wow, that's amazing elementgirl! Congratulaions! It's really cool that you got to travel so far and that you ere one of just 245 sailers to compete! (It seems like a lot, but if you think about how sailers there are in the country -plus Canada and Mexico and the little islands- that's something pretty special :)
