I, Over the Rainbow, of the humble Cricket Chatterbox, hereby do proclaim that yesterday, that esteemed date of February 17th, 2017, was the second anniversary of my first excursion and post on the aforementioned humble Cricket Chatterbox.
That's right, people! I've been here for two entire years! I've seen us fight, make up, leave, come back, fight again (and again and again and again...), reconcile it, and most of all, WRITE!
Now, you may be thinking something along the lines of, "who is this person? How dare she make a thread on CaC, without having posted for, like, a month, about her CBversary when she is no longer active?"
The answer is not long or complicated: I simply have had nothing to say. I read through the threads here every day, and it's easy for me to forget that without actually commenting I am invisible to all of you.
I plan to stay, though. I will stay and I will post. In my first year on here, I was incredibly active, actually joining RPs, posting on all of the compliment threads, and generally acting like a normal CBer (though normal has never been an adjective ascribed to me). In the last year, my posts here waned until they became practically nonexistent.
My CBversary resolution is to comment at least, say, thrice a week. Hopefully, I will get into the habit of posting regularly. I want to be a part of, not apart from, this community!
Enough of this lamenting and creating resolutions! I have been here for TWO ENTIRE YEARS! What does that make me? An oldie? A middie? I remember when I was the newest of the newbies and the CB was mourning the loss of Everinne, a prominent CBer in her day. Many CBers were calling their friends to action, imploring them to try and evoke the 'old' CB and push out the new, somehow lesser Chatterbox. My, the CB has changed so much since then, but not in that respect! We still have little skirmishes over nostalgia all the time. Remember, we are like a riverbank. We change. We weather, we erode, we deposit. Will are always being destroyed, but even more so are we always being built.
I just want everbuggy to know that I love this website. And I want you to have cake! I really like cake. Let's make a cake, shall we?

I know that a couple of times, you mentioned not being appreciated. But since you read all the threads, you know there's a CBer Appreciation movement, right? This is perfect timing! You're really creative, I loved your single write before it died. I think you should definitely comment more, it would make us all happy!

YAAAYYY you've been here two years, OtR! This must have been quite an experience for you to partake on, like a rollercoaster, or a river as you said. *Hands you a giant cake slice* Time to celebrate! I am also glad you are actually going to be posting more, we all missed seeing you around.
