I am so
I am so sorry that I've not been getting on the CB very much lately. I think I'm going to have to take a small break until volleyball is over (probably the middle of March, unless we go to sectionals) because it's been crazy crazy busy. And for Lent (are Catholics the only ones that give up things for Lent?) I'm thinking about giving up electronics, or at least limiting my time, and that'll be until Easter. So, I don't know when I'll be here again, sorry if I'm not as active for a while.
Can you fill me in on anything I need to know? Has anyone left or joined? Sorry.

Bluebird! I am so glad to see you visit for a bit. I know volleyball and such things can be very busy, so it's understandable. I've only ever heard of Lent, but I don't know what it is or who does it. It could possibly be a Catholic tradition, but I could be mistaken.
And there's been a ton of awesome, new CBers! A lot of them are younger, which is great because it is opening up the CB to fresh, new ideas. Unfortunately, Indigo left a few days ago. And there was a small dispute over equality of the CBers, but that's been settled in an amazing way. People have been working hard to include everyone, so I am glad that's taken place.
Overall, that's the only new thing. We have a ton of new AEs as well, and a bunch of brilliant new threads with games, stories, discussions, and compliments, etc.
We look forward to when you can fully return, Bluebird!
Other Christian churches also observe Lent as a time of meditation and self-denial (giving up something desirable) in preparation for Easter.

You're welcome, Bluebird! I was so upset hearing that Indigo has decided to leave... But she promised to return on the reunion date.
And Admin, thank you! I was unsure who exactly celebrated Lent, although I have heard of it before. Our family, while Christian, does not do the tradition, which is why I was unsure.

Nice to see you! I'm Christian, but I'm not Catholic, and we don't really do Lent, at least at my (Presbyterian) church! :) Some people do it, but most of us don't. Although we do still do Ash Wednesday and Palm Sunday.
The Episcopal Church does observe Lent.

Aww, Bluebird! I am Catholic also, so I get the Lent thing. I'm pretty sure it varies from family to family, whether people give up anything for Lent. I'm thinking of just eating less for Lent and abstaining from certain foods.
We'll miss you! I hope volleyball goes well for you!

Hello, Bluebird! I wondered where you had been, and I missed you so much! Thats ok that youve been busy, but busyness always passes, eventualy. In the time you have gone there have been lots of arguments and isolizations, which i think upset us all. I think we are slowly making it better, though. As Ashlee said, I was so upset and shocked when I heard that Indigo was gone. We all miss her, I think.
As I said Im sooo happy to have you back and so, ofcoarce is the rest of the CB. Oh, yes, and in case you were wondering, I changed my name to LilyPad to avoid confusion. I hope you remember me, but if not then it doesnt matter too much. I sure do remember you, though!
Youre friend,
Lily
