1. I have no idea!?!
2. I collect patches from different states and countries and sew them on my backpack!
3. I smell air
4. My first sleepover was when I was 9. I was awake until 2 in the morning, and my friend and I wouldn't stop laughing!
5. Again, I don't know!!!
6. Yes, they are terrrible for the environment.
7. I would call it naked! It's not really homeless because it probably lives somewhere :)
8. The dark, and creepy dolls!
9. Yes, i do.
10. Extra papers in my locker, old pencils.
11. Yes, they are.
Cool idea, Shoshannah!
(January 25, 2017 - 4:25 pm)
Hey, Shoshannah Lily! Haven't seen you for a while!
1. You can't tickle yourself because your brain expects it to happen. Tickling is all about the surprise of being touched in a sensitive place. If you expect it the surprise is gone.
2. I collect seashells and acorns and interesting things I find in the backyard. I once found a silver ink bottle cap (but no ink bottle), and a silver letter opener, which I use.
3. What can you smell right now? A stinky high-school classroom.
4. I can remember my first sleepover! I was eight and I threw up. I had to go home early. :(
5. Because night seems to come from above, I guess. The darkness seems to fall like a curtain, quietly and softly. Maybe day breaks because the sun's rays seem to simply appear suddenly over the horizon, like it's breaking through the dark.
6. Yeah, I guess. I mean, it can be bad for the environment and the animals who live there, but it's better that some other ways to get energy.
7. You call it dead. Because a turtle is attached to it's shell throught the backbone. If it's not attached to the shell, it no longer has a backbone.
8. I have a form of synesthesia, and the color of the word fear is like painting with black water colors, except all around you. Surrounding. There are other water color shades mixed in, but mostly it is just that grayish, uneven, black color all around.
9. It depends on if they were born blind or not.
10. What do you need to throw away? All the random trash at the bottom of my backpack that's collected through last year and this year.
11. Yuppers!
12. How 'bout them?
13. Only if you want! I'm enjoying myself!
14. It was a statement!
(January 25, 2017 - 6:39 pm)
1. ??
2. Books. Lots and lots of books.
3. The heat from my laptop
4. Oh yes. In November, I slept over at my friend's house for her birthday. Me and my friend and 2 of my other friends were there, as well as my little sister, my friend's little sister, and my friend's big brother. We stayed up until 2 am., Because one of my friends decided to build a pillow fort at 1, and we all joined in
5. Figures of speech... I'll have to look that up.
6. I have mixed feelings about that. They are bad for the environment, but it is a new source of power and energy for everyone........ so...... I don't know
7. Both.
8. Dark, creepy haunted houses...... People screaming
9. Yes
10. All the papers in my desk
11. Yes
(January 25, 2017 - 8:05 pm)
1. Why can't you tickle yourself?
--No clue. Active consciousness and awareness?
2. What do you collect?
--Nothing, really.
3. What can you smell right now?
--Snickerdoodles.
4. Do you remember your first sleepover? What was it like?
--My first and only sleepover was pretty traumatic. I did draw a few good drawings over the course of the night while attempting to sleep, however.
5. Why is it that night falls but the day breaks instead?
--Because both know they're are doomed and prefer to carry it out in the most dramatic yet least attention-seeking way possible.
6. Are nuclear power plants a bad idea? Why or why not?
--I have no opinion on matters such as these.
7. If a turtle loses it shell do you call it naked or homeless?
--Neither. Turtles don't live in their shells (neither do tortoises; some crab species do, however) And they have scales, I believe, under their shells. I don't know much about turtles.
8. What comes to your mind when you think of fear?
--Dark black edged in white.
9. Do you think that blind people see their dreams?
--No, unless they weren't born blind. But there is no real way to tell without being blind yourself.
10. What do you need to throw away?
--Nothing, really.
11. Are these questions random enough for your tastes?
--Perhaps.
12. If not, how about pencils with giraffe shaped erasers floating on liquidated artichokes and lampshades?
--Considering I despise artichokes, I think not.
13. I should probably stop now.
--I thought you were adding more random questions, not statements?
14. Why wasn't that a question?
--You must be confused. Go to bed.
(January 25, 2017 - 9:25 pm)
OK, sorry if this has a lot of typos. I'm on my laptop right now.
2. What do you collect?
BOOKS! and just random fan stuff for my various fandoms.
3. What can you smell right now?
Nothing, my nose is all stuffed up. Stupid allergies.
4. Do you remember your first sleepover? What was it like?
Nope. Probably boring, going to bed at ten saying, "We're staying up sooooo late!" Now, we look at the clock, see it's 12, shrug and go back to the marathon of Young Justice.
5. Why is it that night falls but the day breaks instead?
Because the day is a fragile little being. Don't judge the poor thing, it usues a lot of tape and glue. Night is just awesome and loves being dangerous, so it falls.
6. Are nuclear power plants a bad idea? Why or why not?
*Shrugs*
7. If a turtle loses it shell do you call it naked or homeless?
Homeless
8. What comes to your mind when you think of fear?
Darkness and the Silence from Doctor Who.
9. Do you think that blind people see their dreams?
Probably. I mean, they don't need their eyes. But, the dreams are probably really criptic and abstract since they don't know what things look like.
10. What do you need to throw away?
Good question! Most of my drawing and writing
11. Are these questions random enough for your tastes?
Nah, let's get randomer!!
12. If not, how about pencils with giraffe shaped erasers floating on liquidated artichokes and lampshades?
Meh. could get even RANDOMER!! Ok, starting to sound as phsychotic as the Joker... COOL!
13. I should probably stop now.
Should you?
14. Why wasn't that a question?
If you think about it, all things in life are questions. We ask it and see what the universe's response is. Like, if I say I want to be awesome and be able to be SUPER smart, it's a question to the universe. Trust me, I asked. The universe said no.
Here's a question: why is Labor Day called LABOR Day, when you get off work?
Or, when you don't care about something, why is the saying "I could care less"? That means that you COULD care less, meaning you actually DO care! Anyway, i'm going to go ask the universe for a sandwhich...
*Whispers I have a sandwhich* *Nothing happens* Dang! The universe said no...
(January 25, 2017 - 9:51 pm)
"Or, when you don't care about something, why is the saying "I could care less"? That means that you COULD care less, meaning you actually DO care! "
I don't think you do. I always said it "I couldn't care less."
(January 26, 2017 - 1:04 pm)
Hm I've never heard it said that way. Good point, though, thanks! I've always said I could care less. Then again I always thought humid was human. Don't ask, I was a strange kid. Well, maybe was isn't the best verb tense...
(January 26, 2017 - 4:10 pm)
For the longest time I thought that damp meant dry and native meant foreign.
(January 26, 2017 - 8:25 pm)
Lol that's awesome.
(January 28, 2017 - 10:20 am)
1. Why can't you tickle yourself?
What someone else said- you're brain expects it, I guess.
2. What do you collect?
I used to collect shells, then business cards. But ultimately I realized I had a lot of super useless stuff that just took up space so I stopped collecting and threw away my business cards. I've been meaning to return the shells to the beach for a while now. Oh! I used to have a collection of things I found at the bottom of our neighborhood pool. I found bobby pins, a Silly Bandz bracelet once (which was a score), other random stuff that was probably really unsanitary.
3. What can you smell right now?
Well nothing, but I thought that sounded boring, so I smelled my sleeve, which smells like clean linen. Sometimes I wish humans had a more acute sense of smell, don't you?
4. Do you remember your first sleepover? What was it like?
Umm, no. Most likely it was at my best friend's house, and I assume we built a fort and watched a Harry Potter movie, which is what we ALWAYS used to do. It was tradition.
5. Why is it that night falls but the day breaks instead?
Hmmm. I liked what someone else said about night falling like a curtain and day breaking the horizon. That's probably it. And since they're opposites, I guess it's natural that their descriptors would be opposites as well.
6. Are nuclear power plants a bad idea? Why or why not?
Yes -- but only if the whole world agrees. You see, if the US stopped developing nuclear power, than we would be defenseless when another country attacks us. So everyone is just increasingly making more nuclear things because they're untrustworthy of their neighbor.
7. If a turtle loses it shell do you call it naked or homeless?
Turtles can't be seperated from their shell without dying, but probably naked.
8. What comes to your mind when you think of fear?
People with their eyes wide open and arms in front of them as they run away from something truly frightening. Dark mysterious sliding slimy creepy things in the dark and a menacing rasping black voice. (well, that escalated quickly from naked turtles to a rather dark description of fear)
9. Do you think that blind people see their dreams?
There was a study done that I read about somewhere. People who had been blind all their life couldn't see at all in their dreams, only smelled and touched and stuff. People who had been blinded at the age of 2 could see some, people who had been blinded at the age of 5 could see more, and et cetera. Dreams are actually extremely fascinating. Has anyone ever had a lucid dream?
10. What do you need to throw away?
Free stuff that I get that I have no use for but don't want to throw away because I'm thinking of all the waste. Example: remote-control drone my neighbor gave us that only half works.
11. Are these questions random enough for your tastes?
Absolutely. This is almost therepeutic.
12. If not, how about pencils with giraffe shaped erasers floating on liquidated artichokes and lampshades?
Hmm. I never really liked shaped erasers. They weren't really good for ERASING things, which is what erasers are for, no? I love these questions, by the way.
13. I should probably stop now.
Don't!!
14. Why wasn't that a question?
That's a good question.
(January 25, 2017 - 10:48 pm)
1. Why can't you tickle yourself?
Because l've never tired.
2. What do you collect?
Probably most notable--plants. Houseplants. (though l'd love to collect non-house plants, i.e. trees, but the parents would object) There's exactly seventeen pots of varying plants of varying sizes perched in places they shouldn't be in my room. Not quite a jungle, but hey, l'm working on it.
3. What can you smell right now?
Soil. (aforementioned plants explain that.)
4. Do you remember your first sleepover? What was it like?
l....have never had a sleepover. Because l'm a sad antisocial weirdo.
5. Why is it that night falls but the day breaks instead?
Well it isn't exactly like you stay up all night watching the dawn come, you sleep and it's dark, you wake and it's light.
6. Are nuclear power plants a bad idea? Why or why not?
If they are taken care of properly, with all considerations of the surrounding environment and whatnot, then yes.
7. If a turtle loses it shell do you call it naked or homeless?
Homeless.
8. What comes to your mind when you think of fear?
Lighting the stove. l keep thinking that the thing'll burn my face off every time l light it.
9. Do you think that blind people see their dreams?
Eh. Maybe.
10. What do you need to throw away?
All of my old schoolwork that l still think is somehow useful.
11. Are these questions random enough for your tastes?
No.
12. If not, how about pencils with giraffe shaped erasers floating on liquidated artichokes and lampshades?
No.
13. I should probably stop now?
Yes, yes you should.
14. Why wasn't that a question?
Pttth, what are you talking about? That is completely a question. ;)
(January 25, 2017 - 11:45 pm)
1. Why can't you tickle yourself?
I don't know! I think you kind of can though? Or at least I kind of can?
2. What do you collect?
Stuffed animals
3. What can you smell right now?
Nothing, my nose is stuffed because I'm sick
4. Do you remember your first sleepover? What was it like?
Yes! I was never allowed to have sleepovers until I was 10, but my first sleepover was a month or two before I turned 10 with my best friend that I had know for 7 years and now know for 9 years. We tried to fit into her old Disney princess costumes that were too small, ate Swedish Fish while sitting on a coffee table, and snuck her kindle into her room to play Doodle Jump when we were supposed to be sleeping.
5. Why is it that night falls but the day breaks instead?
Maybe because they're both really clumsy but in different ways.
6. Are nuclear power plants a bad idea? Why or why not?
Oh, I don't know
7. If a turtle loses it shell do you call it naked or homeless?
Naked, probably.
8. What comes to your mind when you think of fear?
A ghost. I'm not scared of ghosts, it's just something usually associated with fear
9. Do you think that blind people see their dreams?
Depends. Can blind people imagine what things look like even if they don't see it? If so then yes. If not then they can probably just hear them.
10. What do you need to throw away?
This tissue on my hand. Like I said, I'm sick.
11. Are these questions random enough for your tastes?
Ahhh... maybe
12. If not, how about pencils with giraffe shaped erasers floating on liquidated artichokes and lampshades?
So are the lampshades being used as a boat, or are they liquidated as well?
13. I should probably stop now.
No, keep going!
14. Why wasn't that a question?
That's something you can ask yourself.
(January 26, 2017 - 8:11 am)
1. Why can't you tickle yourself?
No idea
2. What do you collect?
I collect random stuff that catches my eye. I used to collect bottle caps, and I still have my collection, but I haven't added to it in a while.
3. What can you smell right now?
Not much. Maybe a bit of the peppers my mother cooked this moring.
4. Do you remember your first sleepover? What was it like?
It was at my grandmothers, probably after my family got back from Germany. If that doesn't count, then I slept over at my friends house. It was fun!
5. Why is it that night falls but the day breaks instead?
I think it's because when night falls, it's kind of slow, but when day breaks it's faster. It's dark out, then all of a sudden, them light comes and -boom- it's morning.
6. Are nuclear power plants a bad idea? Why or why not?
No idea. I don't know enough about this.
7. If a turtle loses it shell do you call it naked or homeless?
You call it dead. The shell is attached to the spine, so if it looses it's shell, it's spine gets ripped out.
8. What comes to your mind when you think of fear?
Ummmm.... The word?
9. Do you think that blind people see their dreams?
Good question! I don't know. It might depend on whether they were blind at birth, or if they could see before.
10. What do you need to throw away?
A lot of stuff. I've been planning on purging for ages, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
11. Are these questions random enough for your tastes?
Sure. My brother was looking over my shoulder and said something about how random they were. He didn't know that ws the goal.
12. If not, how about pencils with giraffe shaped erasers floating on liquidated artichokes and lampshades?
That does sound random.
13. I should probably stop now.
Okay. Feel free.
14. Why wasn't that a question?
Because it wasn't. That's just how the English language works.
(January 26, 2017 - 1:01 pm)
1. I can! I dunno why, but I'm ticklish in nearly every place and can do it to myself. Mostly on the bottoms of my feet, and the back of my neck.
2. I collect quarters! But not just any quarters. If you look at a quarter, there's three things that can be on the back: the American eagle that's on the dollar bill (most common), a picture depicting an image of a state and their symbols (less common), and the ones I collect-- quarters depciting parks and lanscapes and events in America, like the Grand Canyon. They're pretty rare and cool, so whenever I come across one I grab it!
3. I don't know how to describe it? The smell of my science classroom, so... chalky, chemical, like school?
4. I do! It was in kindergarten, at one of my then-friend's house (I'll call her M). I don't remember much about the night, except for (hehe) when I was so angry that the otehr girls wouldn't turn off the TV from watching iCarly, I actually went into another room so I could go to sleep. XD
5. Because the night's betrayal of the sun, stealing away his brightness and joy, broke his heart, and every time he rises he must remember it, and his soul is crushed once more... *Just kidding--who knows?*
6. UM, yes! No one needs nuclear energy! We don't need our stupid bombs and nukes, and nuclear power plants are very damaging to the environment, as well as people and animals who are exposed to the radiation.
7. Naked? That's the first thing that comes to my mind. I don't really consider a turtle's shell its home. Would you call a backpack your home?
8. The color black. And this cool T-shirt I saw: "We have nothing to fear but fear itself... ...and spiders."
9. I know the answer to this! If they were blind from birth and never had any sight at all, their dreams are abstract and fragmented. If someone lost their sight, though, and could see before they did, they'll have normal dreams just like everyone else.
10. A bunch of Algebra papers from last semester... I'll get to it, I promise!!
11. Not truly random, but very fun. I really like them! Truly random is pi, though, or any oter irrational number.
12. Nice imagery there.
13. Nooo! Don't stop, I'm enjoying this!
14. I prefer to consider it a statement. Why or why not is your own decision.
(January 26, 2017 - 1:52 pm)
That's really cool, I collect state park quarters too! I have most of the ones that have come out so far except for my home state, which came out years ago and never ceases to frustrate me :)
(January 26, 2017 - 8:31 pm)
