Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket
BACK! (ish)H
BACK! (ish)
Hey, everybuggy! I have a lot of down time right now. I've actually been checking Cricket daily, sometimes very apprehensively. The current friction has given me quite a lot of stress. I do have really strong views on this topic, but I think that I won't share them unless absolutely neccessary. I think that it's over. The Admins have posted a policy. We can just go on with our lives now.
ANYWAY! Hi!
As I've mentioned, I've been checking up on DtE and CaC, so you don't have to tell me what's going on. I'm on a trip, in a country that isn't the US (which I'm not going to share at this point because I don't feel safe about it on the Internet). All I'll say is that thiscountry has INCREDIBLE food. I wish I could stay here forever just to eat the food. I've seen some family already, but I have a lot more to see. I'm using my skills in this language sparingly, but hopefully I'll get some conversations in.
I'll probably be actually posting now. I've only been reading. That'll change.
Does anybody remember me very well? It's alright if you don't. If a CBer isn't active, s/he tends to slip out of my memory. So, if you're new, hi. I'm Over the Rainbow, commonly abbreviated as OtR. I like Broadway musicals, Harry Potter, math, and grammar. I left about a month ago because I had no time for the Chatterbox with my Bat Mitzvah to prepare for. Now I have more time, so I'm...B! A! C! K!
I still hope I can be the CB's resident Broadway Triple-Threat.
I don't think I've ever mentioned that I want to be an editor when I grow up. That, or a grant writer for some great non-profit organization. Or a Broadway actress! I've DEFINITELY considered that one. But really, it is my ambition to change the world for the better. Unless one is Lin-Manuel Miranda, Broadway isn't going to help one change the world.
I recently discovered the soundtrack of the musical Finding Neverland, and I'm hooked! It's really good! HSG introduced me to it. Thanks, CB!
Does anyone have opinions on the Tuck Everlasting soundtrack? That's another slightly obscure musical (that I think is currently on Broadway...have to check on that) that I've been listening to periodically, although not very recently. It's not my favorite, because it isn't remarkable, like Hamilton. But it has some good songs, and definitely good orchestration. Please note that this is all my opinion from music that I may have listened to a month ago or longer. Heh heh heh.
I'm going to end the post here.
Wow, what an eloquent ending to an already very smooth and sophisticated post! (Note the sarcasm)
Welcome back, OtR! We hope you will be an editor when you grow up! We have a lot of fun at it. :) ~Admin

Welcome bac OtR!!! I really missed you! Yesterday I was randomly thinking about the CB, and all the people who are leaving, and I realized that I hadn't seen you in a long time. I almost made a Search-and-Hopefully-Rescue thread for you and some ther CBers that I can't think of at the momoent! I'm so glad you're back! :) :) :) :) :)

YAY! Welcome back, OtR!

OTR!!!!! I missed you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay you're back(ish)!!!!! You're one of the biggest musical theater kids here (musicals are my life; I think it's safe to say I'm included in that group), and I've really missed that, but also for just, well, you.
It's so cool that you have those career interests. I think you'd be really good at them. And I greatly admire your ambition to make good changes in the world.
Finding Neverland, yes, isn't it great? I haven't listened to it in a while, and even so I haven't listened to the whole thing, but I greatly enjoy what I've listened to so far. I really like "All That Matters."
And Tuck Everlasting, that's close up on my want-to-listen to musical soundtrack list. I've only ever heard one song from it: "Everlasting" and I thought it was a lovely ballad. I started to read the book once, but never finished.
I feel myself wanting to talk about five other musical-related things right now. I'll create a thread on DtE, so we can chatter and share musicals to our hearts' content!
Oh, and how was your bat mitzvah?

Hi! My class read the book in 5th grade, so I already knew the story. Give it a listen if you can, it has many nice songs.
Also, I'm thirteen years old now! A TEENAGER!! It's crazy! I specially since I've been on the CB since I was 11. I used to actually have time for RPs then...

Yay!!! Welcome back OtR, of course we remember you!!!!!

OtR!!! I missed you!!!

OTR, long time no see! Of course, I remember who you are, but it's been a long while. I haven't been on much myself either, limited to the weekends and all. Then often, I don't find time thanks to school to even be on then. So glad to have you back, though! The CB has missed your awesome presence.

IT'S OVER THE RAINBOW!!!! HI! I missed you! How'd your Bat Mitzvah go? Did you get to read from the Torah? I'm so happy you're back! Wow, you're in another country?! That's so COOL! I have never left the USA, but I really, REALLY want to go to Israel one day. I just saw Rogue One, and it was SO good. And SO sad. But still, really good. I'm super excited for Hannakah! Can't wait to see all my family! Are you going to stay in your un-named country for Hannakah, or come back to the USA?
Anyway, I'm SO HAPPY you're back (ish)!
