Most of you don't know me. I haven't been active much lately.
I thought I wouldn't say this until at least my first Cbversary, but I'm leaving.
I know it won't stay like this all the time, but it seems to be happening more and the only thing anymore is arguing about opinions and trying to make people have a wider mind set and ignoring stuff. I swear it has nothing to do with the recent issue. I lost interest in the AE stuff pretty quickly.
I guess it's just me getting old, huh? *waves around cane*
I know, I'm bad for running away. I'm not being brave. You're losing another CBer. Please don't shower me with compliments or beg me to stay or leave yourself or change the CB or something because of me. That would make me feel even worse and I honestly don't really care to stay anymore.
But, I will forever remember you guys. The Chatterbox will always have a special place it my heart. It has taught me a treasure trove or social skills, writing lessons, and the most amazing friendships. Because of it I have contact with incredible friends and people I look up to.
So now, I'm gonna reboot, restart, and move onto other things. I'm more active on YWP (user is Headdesking_Writer) and NaNo, so you can catch me there. I won't be on Cicada's Slam though. I'm gonna try to be better at art, start a video channel, and write and read more. And try to tame that homework monster, of course.
Now, I'm gonna pull my old AE from the junk pile for a second and let them say something:
Novelist shouldn't do this. Without her here I don't exist anymore.
Finally, I'm going to quote something an older and wise CBer once told me:
"It's okay to be weak sometimes."
They haven't visited the CB in a very long time, but I will never forget that quote.

You guys can change the world. You're amazing, just the way you are.
But sometimes you have to accept defeat. Sometimes it is better to flee than fight.

P.S. I will be back for Valentine's Day ("Love is in the air, love is in the air") and of course, see what happenes in 2019.

Goodbye Novelist. I'll miss you a lot. Please be sure to come back on Valentine's day 2019! I'm not very good at writing godbyes, and between Cho and Daisy, and so many other people leaving, I think I'm all goodbyed-out. I wish you the best in life. Goodbye.

I don't know where the thread is, but years ago when some older CBers were leaving, they vowed to check back in on Valentine's Day, 2019, just to say hi and say what they are were now doing. I think that's the year.
