If 'The Issue' has caused two wonderful CBers to leave, then it must be awful, and we need to do something about it before it starts a war or something. So this is the thread we take a stand on! First step is, WHAT IS THE ISSUE??? Sorry, but it seems like Cho is being really secretive about it on her thread. Like, everyone has asked her, but I don't see any prominent answers. So could someone please explain to me? I'm checking DtE. Nugget say yukb. It must be bad...

At first it might seem like this isn't an important issue because it's just AEs. But this is about more AEs. What would happen if it were to be banned? It has an impact. Deep down it's about more than AEs. I think it's better to have something that some people don't agree with/are not comfortable with AS OPPOSED TO actually having an exclusive rule, that actually excludes a type of person. Because that's what it is: exclusion and ultimately discrimination. Its not race or religion but it's the type of person someone loves. The CB should be an equal place. In addition to simply having equality, have you ever considered that this could be personal for some CBers? Maybe a CBer knows someone that fits this type of exclusion, like a friend or family member. Maybe they are themselves, or start to come out. Even if there's nobody like that right now, what if someone like that came to the CB? They would feel unsafe. You can live with not agreeing with something but it's hard to live with exclusion.

*sigh* I've made a monster out of this. I can't deal with it. This is the one thing I don't think anyone on the CB could understand except Cho. Look, guys, yes, being a Christian doesn't automatically make you against same gender romance, but I am against same gender romance, and although I see what you mean, there's nothing anyone can say or do to make me feel otherwise. I'm sorry if I've offended anyone over this.
