Finals
So... It has come in my life the one week that all high school students dread with all their hearts. Finals week. As a result, you will not be seeeing much of me in the next two weeks. I will miss you all soooo much, and I promise I'll be back when break starts!
A few exceptions/messages:
To Joss and the rest of the Fairytale RP: I am really, really sorry. I really thought I could ost, could be a part of it... And then I got confused and it turned out I couldn't. So, unless you guys can incorporate me into the story for the next to weeks... I'm sorry.
To the Writing/Art contest: Kaledido, if you really do think you have the time to draw for me, then thank you infinitly and will deffinetly be on to look at your drawing at write my story.
To the Poetry Contest: Anxiously awaiting the results! I will check that thread.
To the Come Back ski lodge: I will read the end. I can't wait! I might not comment much, but know that I'm there, reading and cheering you on.
Also if any of you guys have study or de-stressing tips, it would be much appreciated!

Oh my.
You will not believe that amount of stuff I have heard about the finals.
From what I understand of its depiction in modern culture, Finals = DOOM
Homework before the finals = DOOM
Stress during the finals = DOOM
Trying to recover after the finals = DOOM (unless you have memes)
So, tell me after you complete the doo--I mean finals--is it as bad as they say?
Well, anyway, I'm kinda confused now. I remember in July you started a thread about just starting highschool.
(I'm homeschooled and on vacation rught now. I obviously have no understanding on the public school system).

Yup :) I am a freshman in high school, which means that this year I have finals in... Let me see... Six of my classes. Yeah, fun. I'll let you know how it goes! Vacation starts right after finals are over.

Well, I'm not taking finals as I'm in middle school, but I wish you the best of luck! I won't forget you in my solo write, I promise. :)

Thanks Cloudy! That's another thing I'll be sure to keep an eye on!

I am only in middle school so I only have four finals... well five if you count the concert...
ELA finals already happened-- a five minute presentation on our self-choice biograohy. My Malala presentation was pretty easy and went pretty well. Also before (which was probably our legit final exam) we had to write an essay and I got a 100% and a lOT of positive feedback from the teacher. English is leisure this year!
I am not too worried about science finals.
Math finals... I know the material, but I h a t e statistics it's just so b o r i n g finding center and spread and stuff like that! So I dread the first part.
History exam. I don't know much about this yet – the teacher isn't telling us just what it is yet, but THE ESSAY, IT LOOMS ON THE HORIZON.
And choir. The concert is soon. We know the songs, but I'm jumping parts (I know all the voice parts and I'm singing different ones based on where I sit) and thE SOPRANO SECTION IS BARELY AUDIBLE–
So basically I don't have the huge load but
National History Day is the thing
I truly fear...

Do you homeschool, Daisy? If so, are you with the Lukeion Project online school for Latin? I am!

Good luck, Booksy! I hope all goes well.
I'm not very helpful at giving out stress-relieving ideas, seeing as I'm almost always stressed about something myself--but I do find that shoulder massaging is SUPER relaxing and helpful to ease tension.
Holding a fat mouse also helps! In case, you know, you happened to have a random overweight mouse laying around somewhere. XP

Ah, I completely understand, Booksy Owly! Currently facing the same situation! I have my Latin finals this week...Then the rest of them are next week...

What are finals..?
(December 7, 2016 - 10:19 pm)
Haha BE GLAD YOU DON'T KNOW, young one! Finals are these GIANT mega huge exams that have a really big weight on your grade and include all the material from the past semester. For us, finals are 100 minutes each and, for our seven classes, take place over the course of three days. It's super stressful aaah.
