How do you start an AE? Do you make a thread to introduce them, or do you just start writing?

You can do whatever! It's just a character you post with sometimes (we live in a constant state of roleplay on here), and because it's your character you can choose whether to make a fanfare of it or integrate them in slowly. Most I've seen made threads, but my AE Volcano, who I made in the late AE war, just apeared with a post.

RPs are like D&D, except less math and more actual writing. Also, there isn't a set list of creatures you can encounter, and everyone's kind of the Dungeon Master.
