1. Weirdest habit:
Umm, I have this really weird ritual, which is kinda close? At about eight o'clock, I don't allow myself to crack my knuckles (which is hard, because I love cracking my knuckles, and I love the sound, which it strange because everyone seems to hate it) until I go to bed (well, on school days). Then, while I'm reading in bed, I'll crack my toes and knuckles before I go to sleep.
Oh! And I have a not-so-strange habit that has a strange backstory. I have this weird thing where I'll tap stuff: a pencil, my fingernail, whatever, but always in a one-two-three-four beat. I started doing this when I watched my first Doctor Who episodes with the Master, where he had the Time Lord heartbeat as the sound of drums in his head all the time. So I just started tapping for days in the same beat and now it's automatic.

"Older and Taller," by Regina Spektor, from her new album (!!!). I should really play it . . . I'm gonna do that.
3. Current book you're reading:
Good question . . . I was reading The Giver and The Book Thief at the same time, 'cause they're both for school, but I finished 'em, and I'm also reading the HUGE complete Hitchhiker's Guide! I'm so happy I got it, but I can't bring it to school, it's too large.
4. Food you're craving right now:
Well, you made me want snickerdoodles, but I think a really sweet honeycrisp apple. My mouth is weird sometimes.
5. Why are you taking this survey?
Because my six-hours-of-sleep mind is for some reason procrastinating about something. Piano? Star Trek? I'm not sure why I'd be procrastinating about Star Trek . . .

1. Weirdest habit: Bawking at my chickens, meowing to my cat, barking with our dogs...quacking...etc.
2. Song stuck in your head: Thankfully, nothing for now...
(Oops, nevermind. I forgot what it was called, but thankfully it's a nice song.)
3. Current book you're reading: 'Rats: Practical, Accurate Advice from the Expert' by Debbie Ducommun. I've checked it out from the library, like, five times. It's my favorite book on rats, and the only book our library has that specifically talks about them. I love researching stuff, and I really want a pet rat, but I have too many animals already--so all I can do in the meantime is more research!
4. Food you're craving right now: Steak and Shake chili spagghetti...Don't ask why.

1. Weirdest habit(s): Talking to people who aren't there and dancing extensively and dramatically (and rather badly) to music when no one's watching.
2. Song stuck in your head: Up till now, nil. Starting now, the entire repertoire of numbers from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Ha ha ha! What a lark!
3. Current book you're reading: I'm reading the Mysterious Benedict Society series to one of my sisters. And I'm supposed to be reading Wuthering Heights-- I might as well finish it. And A Day In Old Athens for my history education. And whatever else turns up in my hand when I brush up against a bookshelf on my way to some district of the house or other.
4. Food you're craving right now: Beef and Broccoli. Tender, juicy beef served with lush, succulent broccoli over fluffy white rice. And now my teeth are aching-- I'd better drop this rather intoxicating subject.

Photograph by Ed Sheeran, and a couple Taylor Swift songs (I don't know how I picked those up, 'cause my mom doesn't let me listen to Taylor Swift and so I've only heard these ones a few times.)-I knew you were trouble when you walked in...

I usually read a book, I don't take my time. I just read Upside Down in the Middle of Nowhere by Julie T. Lamana. It's about Hurricane Katrina. It was really sad, but well written and captivating. I read it in one afternoon because I didn't want to put it down!

Fudge.
