Are you being imaginative, picturing names as colors (I do that sometimes for poetry) or do you have synesthesia?

Mei-xue: Dark purple and bright orange. Very contrasting.

Joan: Orange. I will never imagine you as anything else after Spectrum.

Shadow Dragon: Purple that's so dark everyone just sees it as black.

St. Owl: Heavenly gold mixed with white and different shades of grey.

Scylla: MINT GREEN (But really, I now see a lot more dark blue with just a few light green streaks. May represent the personality change you were talking about a while back?)

Danie: Grape purple. Again, never anything else after Spectrum.

Pete the Trollslayer (speaking of spectrum): Varying shades of brown, mostly beige like old paper.

Booksy Owly: Dark green.

Clouded Leopard: Creamy off-white with sparse dark grey spots.

Ahm... Let me think. I usually associate certain objects and names with colors. So who I go:

St.~ Gold, for sure

Daisy~ A bright, cheerful shade of yellow or orange

Mei~ Pink, yellow, and white. Occasionally a contrast of pink and black

Scylla~ Dark blue

Joan~ Orange or mint green and cyan

BunnyLoves~ Pink

Leeli~ GREEN! I love green (well... and blue)

Jack-a-Nat~ I believe... Orange

Lap~ Blue

Cho~ Ravenclaw dark blue

Gared~ Uhm... Hmm.. Tricky one. I'm seeing green for you. Maybe brown.

Shadowmoon~ Dark, dark colors. Dark purple, black, midnight blue.

Mirax~ Probably blue. I'm seeing a little bit of pink, too.

CL~ Light blue/cyan and... light yellow/gold.

What am I?

Yay, I love these!

HAB- A sort of patchwork of sky-blue, bright green, yellow, and red.

Owlgirl- A soft brown with swirls of darker shades of brown, kind of like cookie-dough ice cream.

Mei- A bright, popping green, melting ito darker green at the edges.

Cayke- Just as I did when I first came here, I see you as a sunny yellow with swirls of pink.

Daisy- Also, yellow, but a nice, light pastel one.

Ashlee- Dark green with electric-blue zig zags.

Butterfy- Pastel pink, with light green bursts.

Novelist- Dark purple, deffiletly, with a couple of bright green streaks.

I don't have synthesia, but I'll try my best. I see solid colors, not images like Mei described.

Mei-xue: Kind of a dark mauve garnet color. Like rose petals.

St. Owl: Midnight blue.

Owlgirl: Any shade of purple (it varies from day to day)

Hey, I'm curious, how many of you guys have Synesthesia? I don't, so I'm just using the personality to decide. (That's okay, right?) My best friend recently told me she has it, and I thought that was really cool! (My name is darkish red with a touch of baby blue for her.) Is it fun to have syesthesia? Are you an associator or a projecter? Does it affect your life at all?

And, ahem, Mei, I prefer Abi to Abbi. But if you insist. *sigh*

Clouded Leopard~ Golden yellow dashed with rounded dots of amber.

Over the Rainbow~ Clear, sky blue with splashes of white and yellow. 

St. Owl~ Soft white with speckles of pale beige and an warm, orangey yellow center.

Mei~ Dark red swirled with bright, yellowish green that seems to glow.

Daisy~ Pale pink splashed randomly with playful yellow.

Cayke~ Warm, coral pink and light, grassy green, with small dots of dark blue.

Hotairballoon~ Dark red dots against pale blue.

Daisy: bright yellow. Very bright, and slightly golden. 

Mei-Xue: bright pink. 

Scylla: dark blue with hints of green, like ater. 

Joan: the red on the sides of this page. 

Shadow Dragon: Light gray, or black. 

Danie: forest green. 

Booksy Owly: A medley of varying shades; creamy white, biege, golden brown, and some chocolately brown or brownish red. 

Clouded Leopard: Grayish off white with blue spots that are so gray everyone else just sees them as blue without seeing the tiny hint of blue that's there.

Leeli: Dark green, kind of emeraldy. 

Jack-a-Nat: dark orange, so dark it's kind of golden brown. 

Cho: dark blue

Shadowmoon: Black and a bright purple mixed in swirls with hints of pink. 

Mirax: A kind of happy blue. Very vivid, sort of lighter blue but not a wishy washy sort of sky blue, darker and deeper than that.

Gared, like I said, I see you as a green or brown. It just matches your name and personality, for some odd reason. And you like zombies and sci-fi. Matches the colors perfectly.

Sorry, I just match certain names to certain colors and objects. 

Kestrel: When I think of the name Kestrel, I think of a brownish-orangeish-reddish colour, but when I think of the actual person whose name is very very very secret, I think of a sort of light sea foam green.

Owlgirl: A dark, chocolatey brown, with streaks of light brown, royal blue, and a golden brown colour like the background of the Hamilton logo.

Mei: A kind of dark, fiery reddish.

Scylla: Streaks of dark blue, turquiose, and lime green on a white backgroud, kind of blurred like they're going really fast.

Daisy: I always picture a bright yellow-greenish (but mostly green.)

The Novelist: Deep, dark purple, with and outline of gold.

Ashlee: Sky blue, like at midday, a little deeper than the colour of a bluejay.

Clouded Leopard: Light blue with yellow leopard spots.

Indigo: ... Indigo?

Leeli: Bright, cheerful yellow, but not like annoying yellow, a little... (hmm don't know how to describe this...)  more like sunflower yellow.
