Dear Admins, Editors,

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Dear Admins, Editors,

Dear Admins, Editors, and CBers:

I am considering starting a magazine. Seeing that Cricket is so successful, I figured that the Editors would be quite the experts on magazines. I was wondering if any of you could give me tips on titles, content, hiring, and paying, among other things.

I was thinking that to start, if I was going to do a literature magazine, I would ask the more author-ish CBers like Cho, Mei-xue, Shadow Dragon, and Curio if they wanted to write/submit stories for it.

That's all I have for now, thanks for reading!

Brainstorm titles, content, and other ideas with a few creative friends/people who love reading and literature like you do. Start with one issue, then review it and make changes, if needed, as you go. Investigate starting online first to avoid the added cost of paper, printing, and distribution. Or start at your school. Does your school have a literary magazine? If so, get experience working on it. If not, then start one. Let us know how it goes.

Um, you may not have known this, but I also really like yo write and would honored to help. :-) But, of course, you probably want the more talented CBers for this.

I actually didn't know you liked to write. I'm sure you're talented and I'd be honored to have your work in my magazine.

@Scylla, I also know a teeny bit about making a business, so I could help with that, too.

We could meet under Savvy's video.
